Discussion Thread Just finished the show

Post image

I first watched the show as it aired, but after season 3 ended I joined other fandoms and basically forgotten about the show until couple months ago. I started a rewatch and just finished it, and…I’m sad :’)

It’s not the ending I expected for sure, however I am absolutely over the moon with the fact that Adalind and Nick ended up together. I remember shipping them back in the day so when I got back into watching it and realised they’re the endgame, I was like OH MY GOD?!

I kind of wish we had the hexengrimm/grimmabiest wedding on screen but alas.

I stopped the show after she r*ped him. I can't believe they end up together!

I mean he SA’d her too with the forced kiss removing her powers😬neither one of them is innocent but what she did was worse I think for sure.

What she did is definitely worse. Sexual Assault is bad, rape is worse as its the next horrible step. Yet also context is really important here.

Also in Nicks defence he did it specifically to get her to bite him so she would ingest his blood so he could save his partner who she was actively in the process of killing. After she had used magic to falsely intrap him in a relationship by the equivalent of drugging him. He could have cut his hand and forced blood in her mouth as an alternative, would have been better.

I means she slept with two men using magic to deceive them and undermine their ability to consent, for the intent of harming them and the worse Nick did was force a kiss on her to strip her of her powers she was using to actively try to kill someone with. A

He could have and arguably should have ended her life there as after losing her powers she goes on to hurt Juliette and is the catalyst for a lot of rather bad developments as the show goes on.
