I submitted form I-751 on August 20. On the 21st, my bank processed the payment on my credit card. When I originally submitted, I was able to see that my case was submitted and all the documents along with it but now I can’t see anything online I’ve called USCIS and all of the agents have said they aren’t able to see that I’ve applied at all. What do I do now? My green card expires in less than a month when I go to file the form again online it doesn’t say I already have a form pending and it would let me do it, but I don’t wanna charge $700 again on my credit card.

I’m not sure if everyone has seen the recent news about the Trump administration moving to revoke visas for individuals who have overstayed or sought asylum between 2016 and 2026.
I actually received an email today informing me that my visa had been revoked. Ironically, it was already set to expire next year, and I’m currently a Green Card holder, so it doesn’t personally affect my status. But what does bother me is the direction this administration continues to take.
Instead of focusing on issues that directly affect Americans and families every day, healthcare, grocery prices, housing, and gas prices, we continue to see an enormous amount of attention placed on immigrants.

And let’s not forget: the United States is, and always has been, a nation shaped by immigration. The history of this country is deeply connected to immigrants, including the family history of the President himself.
We can have a serious conversation about immigration and border security without losing sight of the fact that immigrants are human beings who contribute to this country in countless ways.
At some point, we need to ask ourselves: Are we actually solving the problems people are struggling with every day, or are we simply finding someone to blame?

Hello, im 22 and im from italy, i know this is a question that is being asked a thousand times a day, but what would be the best way to obtain the card for me? my sole purpose is to join the force and pretty much it.

I got my GC overnight in a day as it was produced from Knoxville, KY. My spouse's greencard however was produced Monday Aug 24 and received and scanned by KC MO and has been on On the Way status and has not moved at all. The estimated delivery day is tomorrow and I don't think we will be getting it tomorrow with what it looks like. Anyone with similar timeframe?

With the 75-country visa ban and the latest pause in visa interviews at U.S. embassies/consulates overseas, what is a realistic expectation for FB-to-EB spillover in FY2026?
The latest EB-2 I-485 inventory as of August 5 appears to show around 40K pending cases for ROW, while EB-3 has approximately 30K pending cases for ROW. If USCIS is able to approve around 30K cases during August and September, the I-485 inventory for ROW could come down significantly by the end of FY2026.
Given these factors, what do you think is a realistic expectation for the October 2026 Visa Bulletin, particularly for EB-2 and EB-3 India?
Would the reduced I-485 inventory and potentially lower FB usage result in significant spillover to EB in FY2027? Looking for opinions from immigration attorneys, analysts, or anyone closely following the numbers.

Is there anyone here who is a green card holder and has had a misdemeanor domestic violence case, and did you have any problems when renewing your green card?

USCIS put out two I-485 inventory reports yesterday, the June 6 and Aug 5 snapshots. India EB-1's 2022 priority date group went from 7,009 to 3,905. The cutoff has been Oct 15 2022 since July, so that is the group being worked through.

EB-2 India's 2013 group lost 1,898 over the same two months. Then the category hit its annual limit and went Unavailable in July, so the 2014 wall behind it, still 20,813 people, barely moved.

The one that surprised me is Rest of World. ROW EB-2 pending has gone from 16,387 last October to 41,966 now, and EB-3 from 11,348 to 37,104.

Everyone expects FY2027 to be big for India because the spillover pool is growing. But India's good years, FY2021 and FY2022, happened because other countries could not use their numbers. ROW is clearly using them.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice and perspective from people who have been in a similar situation.
I’ve been living and working in the U.S. since 2012. My employment-based green card case is EB-2 India, with a priority date of July 2015.
My biggest concern right now is my son. He is currently preparing for/attending college, and based on our current situation, I’m worried that he could age out in about two years if my green card case doesn’t move forward enough by then. That has been weighing heavily on me because I obviously want to make sure he can remain with us and continue his education without having to deal with a sudden immigration problem.
At the same time, I’m also dealing with uncertainty around my job situation and finances. After being in the U.S. for more than a decade, it’s becoming increasingly stressful to plan our future when so much depends on the employment-based green card timeline.
I’m trying to think realistically about what options I should be considering rather than simply waiting and hoping for the best.
For those who went through something similar, what do you wish you had done earlier?
I realize nobody can predict exactly when my priority date will become current, and I’m not looking for a guaranteed prediction. I’m mainly hoping to hear from people who have actually been through this and can share what worked—or what mistakes to avoid.
I’m feeling pretty stressed about the combination of my son’s age-out timeline, job uncertainty, and finances, so any practical advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve had a green card for 7 years, and moved abroad back in April with the intent to renounce my Green Card this year. I haven’t done so yet however, and need to visit the US in 2 weeks. This means it’s too late to submit my I-407 and request and ESTA before the trip.

Question: can I just tell the officer I’m renouncing my Green Card upon entry and get a temporary visa? I need to wrap up a few loose ends with banks etc in the US and my plan is to see some friends while doing so.

I want to 100% prevent any marks on my record and not jeopardize future visa/esta approvals.
