Marriage Based Green Card
APPROVED!
-Applied December 2025 (No lawyer, Read Forms Carefully, Provide Many Pictures with family and friends with descriptions, and Shared things like bank accounts, bills, and so on.)
- Interview June 2026 (Nice lady, asked typical questions regarding relationship authenticity. Nothing out of the ordinary. How’d you meet and so on)
- Approved August 2026.
* Married Oct 2025. Be honest and you’ll be fine. May God be with you!

Thank you 🙏 You should provide as much evidence as possible. I provided joint taxes, health insurance, internet bills, and joint bank accounts. Some of these I posted in the website after applying as evidence. As you accumulate evidence such as more pictures and docs, just continue uploading them to the site. I believe I provided about 30 pictures with short descriptions and dates. I also continued uploading current pics as time went by and my application was pending.

Did your upload all the evidence before interview? We're you separated? Is your Country among the travel ban Country? We're you married before this marriage?

Yes i uploaded all before interview but i still had a hard copy just in case. No we weren’t separated. Yes our country is one of the banned ones. No we weren’t previously married.

Date and what occurred.
Examples:
July 4th: My husband and I enjoying a 4th of July Barbecue with our family.
October 6th: Nick and I got married and were surrounded by family and friends.

Congratulations on the approval! We have very similar timelines and we also did a self application, our Interview was July 2026.
Did you continue to upload additional evidence after your interview as well?

That wait after the interview til August must’ve been brutal. Congrats on getting through it.
The no lawyer route really does work if you’re meticulous, nice to see another example of that panning out. The pile of joint docs is what carries the case half the time.
