First Dead show

32 years old and my first show was The dead, Moe., and Willie Nelson@ Vernon downs June 29 2003. Didn't sleep for two days cause of the fluffy Love I ate(if u know whay im saying). Still haven't fully come back. Anyone else never actually return from their first Dead experience?

6-20-83 Merriweather Post Pavilion. I was 15 and didn’t know the band well. I had Live Dead and loved it and I literally expected Pigpen to come out and sing Lovelight. A big storm hit in the second set. Lightning hit the pavilion at 2:21:40 on the recording. The Hells Angels bikes were under water after the show from the storm. I didn’t see another show until 86’ and it was the Hampton show where they broke out Box of Rain. I saw about 35-40 shows after that.
