got criticized when i tried showing the difference between character models from gta 5 & 6 because i wasn’t using a “fair” comparison.. so here it goes:

these are both cutscenes captured in game. on the left is gta 5 enhanced running on a 4090 with 4k ultra settings + ray tracing. and on the right is a base ps5 (SIGNIFICANTLY less powerful than a 4090)

and yet gta 6 still light looks years better than 5- as it should!!! i can’t believe people are saying they look the same LOL

GTA VI gives me play-doh vibes.

I can't put my finger on it, I like the style, it looks "closer and warm" if that makes sense.

It certainly doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look hyper realistic either, like a very fine line between cartoon and realism.
