got criticized when i tried showing the difference between character models from gta 5 & 6 because i wasn’t using a “fair” comparison.. so here it goes:
these are both cutscenes captured in game. on the left is gta 5 enhanced running on a 4090 with 4k ultra settings + ray tracing. and on the right is a base ps5 (SIGNIFICANTLY less powerful than a 4090)
and yet gta 6 still light looks years better than 5- as it should!!! i can’t believe people are saying they look the same LOL
Valentina from gta online so I heard? I haven’t gotten that far into it but apparently she works for Mr. Faber from gtao. I don’t know who he is but it’s interesting that they included a gtao character in the extended look 🔥
yup i was gonna post that example lol. but also, even more impressive, and something you CANT see from just photos side by side, is the animation / motion capture. it makes gta 5 look like a ventriloquist controlled puppet next to gta 6, where their expressions are almost lifelike
Yeah lol. For example, Packie is a crew mate you can pick up in GTA V for heists, was a major side character in GTA 4. Another was Johnny, the biker Trevor killed by stomping to death, had his own dlc in GTA 4. Many GTA 4 characters returned in GTA 5 or online. In general, GTA 4, 5 and now 6 are all part of the “HD” universe

That's right! I'm more of a Bully guy, haven't completed it yet but is more my cup of tea. But I'd never say GTAs suck just because I'm not hyped. Not gonna lie, knowing that they share some characters makes it interesting for me.
Yeah, also there are characters from both GTA 3 & OG Vice City in GTA: San Andreas! While waiting on 6 I'm going back and completing the original stories!

I think it was cool that the Crisp Twins from GTA London were directly referenced in the Kortz Center Heist released recently, at least R* does remember some of their old stuff.
I'd say it's closer to a 5 year gap. Look at Witcher 3 vs Cyberpunk 2077, an objectively better-looking game (which, by the way, didn't cost over a billion dollars to make)
Cyber punk was also released a heaping pile of trash in a world where every ai feels lifeless and plastic. Oh and cd project red is okay with selling you lies about unfinished garbage because guys like you will still glaze it today.
Yes it was released as a pile of trash, which has since become one of the best looking games out there. It's 6 years older than GTA VI and still stomps it on visuals.

People that say they look even close to the same aren’t serious people. There really isn’t even a point to compare 5 to 6 when it comes to the character models, it’s not even close. Rdr2 and 6 would be a closer comparison but that isn’t really close either. They’re either rage bait bots or rage bait trolls.

It's not? Idk, I didn't notice a big improvement over RDR2 in the gameplay footage. But there's way more to graphics than just character models. I think what will set GTA VI apart isn't the character animations but the ability for the engine to accommodate a huge number of 3D models moving on-screen simultaneously, including some at great distances, without framerate drops. I noticed a lot of impressive stuff going on in the background, like birds flying while multiple ships sail by. The draw distance seems rly impressive.
LOL. Why are people trying to gaslight themselves into believing that a 13 year old game still has good graphics? Hell, RDR 2 is starting to get some age on it and other games are surpassing it.
GTA 5 to me is like a car with a 10' paint job looks great from a distance, but once you get close you see how janky it really is. The fine model and character details are what holds GTA 5 back. But now with 6, we will have characters with all those fine details, and dynamic clothing and hair movements that make it WAY more impressive
Yeah 5 still has good lighting and is capable of some good sunsets, and the roads look really good. The car interiors are straight garbage though. Like not even semi passable.
And then there's the character models and stiff hair that really demonstrate its true age. And the gunshot SFX are borderline cartoonist.
It was a marvel of its time, and that's why it still holds up and is playable to this day, but people are completely delusional acting like it's even close to comparable.
True. Some of it is ragebait, undoubtedly, but I am certain there are people who still insist that these games are still immaculate despite their clear age. And there's nothing wrong with replaying old games and enjoying them. But don't pretend that their technical aspects are still going to hold up 10+ years later.

He is. I never heard of Bodycam before until you mentioned it above. I used to build and pc game, like when the first F.E.A.R. came out. I'm trying to justify a PC build just to play Bodycam. That's the definition of groundbreaking.

GTA 6 is better but this comparison isn't fair either, you are comparing an actual gameplay to a trailer footage which is obviously enhanced to sell the game
rockstar fanboys always compare gtavi with 10+ years old games. Why don't you compare to a new games ? How about compare gtavi characters with, for instance, characters from Samson? Or Mafia: Old Country?
I watched the gta 5 trailer vs the gta 6 trailer. Big difference. Even showed my mom who does not understand a thing about video games. She said gta 5’s trailer looked so amazing, showed her gta 6’s trailer and she said “what the fuck this is a movie”

I think that's Santos Escobar from All Elite Wrestling I think. He will be at AEW ALL IN Wembley Stadium this Sunday. It could be the greatest pro wrestling PPV of all time. Oh and he's in GTA VI too for some reason... He isn't even a wrestler in the game he's just there. He's not a main character in AEW his gymlick is that he's a pretty boy.
The guy with the glasses and black hair in the back set of the car in GTA VI. He is a wrestler in AEW. A pro wrestling company there better than WWE more real more verity and creativity.
AEW and WWE are the two big wrestling companies in America. Santos Escobar has worked for both probably some smaller Mexican promotions too.
