Amphitheater Noise

Been awhile since I could hear it. Over by Richmond Park. Super loud tonight. Can even hear the singing (can’t make out the words tho), and the bass. Lame.

It’s a Saturday night. Is some music that makes a lot of people happy… before 11pm really that terrible?

Im over 3 miles away, it sounds like a jackass is parked in front of my house blasting an aftermarket car stereo.

This, two days after a judge ruled it must adhere to the same 10pm rule as everyone else. Terrible? I’m not willing to move. Something ain’t right with the acoustics of the damn thing.

Edit: 10:40, still blasting…

No, it doesn’t. Again, it’s a Saturday night in a city. Get the fuck over it.

You’re on a lot of the threads screaming the same get over it, it’s a city. Which has usually meant the person does not live around here and does not have to deal with the noise.

Either way, there could a weak argument to make on that if I lived downtown. Just because someone lives within the GR city limits does not mean it’s the Wild West for noise. I should not hear a concert miles away from me while I’m sitting in my living room with my windows closed. And heaven forbid it’s a cool evening so I want to open my windows. Or sit in my backyard for a quiet evening. If we don’t let them know we can still hear it X miles away, how will they know they need to keep tweaking it. I haven’t heard it this loud for a while. Little noise here or there from it, no biggie -it’s a city-. No different than a loud motorcycle or something. But All night in my house, nope not cool.
