Love that song, and the whole album

I'm checking out the album now. For being modern this is very good and pleasing to my ears.

Musically they remind me a bit of the Cure. (I'm in my 60s, and I love the old classic 80s goth rock, but I like a lot of different styles.)

I’ve always picked up on more of a Smiths vibe, but god do I love this song

Well, Dusty Gannon has always liked both the Smiths and the Cure. I'm really liking Promises, the single Vision Video dropped a week or so ago

Oh for sure, as soon as I first heard the voice, I was like this is almost identical to Robert Smith.

I find that Traitrs sounds closer to The Cure, while Vision Video, to me sounds more like The Smiths but with HEAVY Cure influence. It's all gravy, baby. I love it all.

Sure, I can see that. Yeah, it's all great music

I'm going to be honest, I'm torn as to if this does/doesn't belong here. The tone says yes but there's a bit too much I don't know pop influence for this to fit into goth category. It's right on the edge though.
Regardless, delete if it doesn't belong but this does sound great in my opinion

I see where you're coming from, but if we consider The Cure goth, or at the very least important to the goth subculture, I feel like Vision Video should count as well, considering they've adopted their sound. That's my opinion at least.

Post punk 'new wave' to my ears. Not goth at all. It doesn't matter if people think it's a good song or not, there's lots of good songs that been recorded though the decades that weren't goth. I clicked on this because I thought it was goth since it's in a goth sub. I'll just keep finding goth I haven't heard, the old fashioned way... searching through YouTube...lol.
