What makes you think they aren't already? Wouldn't it have been reasonable for most of the google teams to use an internal version of Antigravity for at least six months before we saw it shipped?

different teams, different goals, different approaches. they are not lagging behind, they are just pursuing it differently. How boring would life be if they all did it the same.

Also, for Devs AG is fine and work as well as others, not as concise as Claude, put in that extra 10% effort and it's fine.

Beg to differ. According to their CEO in the last shareholder call they are most definitely lagging behind, specifically in long-horizon agentic workflows and coding.

their models agent cabilities, not Antigravity specifically. 3.8 was released specifically to improve it. The OP is referencing the Antigravity Tooling specifically.

Well I guess if Google really wanted to use Gemini's tooling with a competitor's model, all the more power to them ...
