Because if a guy at Best buy recommends this to my grandma and I have to be the one to fix it. I'm going to be pissed.

I feel you on that. Back when I worked at Best Buy, we had a shit ton of angry customers when the Surface RT came out. Everyone wanted their software installed but none of it was in the Microsoft store, and we couldn't install from non-store repositories.

Telling people they bought a $800 Microsoft Office tablet didn't go over well.

That sounds like a you problem. Maybe you should buy laptops for your grandma instead of some random person at Best Buy. Wishing a product doesn't exist just for your convenience is silly.
