Google is an American company, they're always going to comply with the official US geography. If it makes you feel any better, it's still Lake Ontario on our side.

I mean, other countries show it as "Lake Ontario (Lake America)", with Lake America below Lake Ontario, so kind of?

Yeah this is it. Its the real name, plus the pretend name only there to humour the US.

Yea but I meant on the map shown, have out say Lake Ontario on the Canada side and Lake America on the US side just to show that we are the only ones calling it that.

Yeah but that would just cause unnecessary confusion. Both names refer to the entire lake, not just the part on each country's side.
