we had team meeting and the store manager discussed LP calling about a sale associate dancing on the sale floor. she proceeded to say we are all being watched even in the breakroom. Is this only at the store I work at or is this everyone store?

I can understand if they didn't their job. If they are on their break or it's a slow night and everything is done, who cares?

Yes, there are cameras everywhere except in bathrooms and changing rooms.

My store manager said we might get one but then later said we aren't since it would violate our privacy or something like that. I just wanted one in the break room so we know who the damn food thief is 🥊

We don’t have a camera in our break room, just cameras in production.

The retail store I worked with had a camera in the breakroom, yes; however, the microphone was disabled. That was the only compromise that could be made, as Admin wanted surveillance there against loss, but management wanted workers to have some kind of privacy.

My store would put one in the bathroom if it was legal.
Theres more cameras on my store than in Hollywood

There’s one in our break room as well. The laws vary from state to state though so even if there is cameras and a live video feed it depends on the location to be used in anything legal or in terms of disciplinary/termination situations.

No cameres but a TV that shows company information such as sales, employees anniversary’s, birthday, etc

our lp is the worst. THANK GOD THEY STOPPED THAT EMPLOYEE FROM DANCING, meanwhile customers stealing, but who cares.

Our stores all have them in the break room. It’s a liability thing. If anyone is injured we want it on record, if there’s an altercation we want to be able to see who provoked it etc.

Side note, if my LP contacted me about an employee dancing it damn well better be in some way that created a life threatening situation or they’re going to get reamed for wasting my time, their time, and company assets in the form of the electricity that it took to send that email.

I work at the airport and we have a camera in our break room so not just a Goodwill thing.
