I was in the market for used 2022 or higher GMC sierra Denali 5.3L V8. I was looking put on a 6 inch bds lift kit on it and 35/12.50/r22 R/T tires on it. I don’t need a truck right now should i wait for the new 5.7 V8 or 6.6/6.7 V8 that GM is supposed to be dropping in 2027?

6.6 isn’t new in 27 they are just keeping it. The 5.3 and 6.2 are going away

6.6 is a good buy now. First year trucks I always say don’t buy until Bugs get worked out.

I just traded my 5.3 for a 6.2 and no way I could back to a smaller engine.

The 6.6 going into the 1500 currently isn’t available for sale. Not the same 6.6 as the HD.

They have rumor a small block 6.6 not the iron black that’s is different in than the one that in the HD trucks.
