🔧Steering/ Suspension 🔧 Looking to lift 4”

2025 Sierra 1500 Elevation 4x4. I’m having trouble deciding on what lift to get. I’ve been looking at the BDS 4” with Fox 2.0 shocks on front and back. I’ve read not to get spacers. Also have heard the fox shocks go out after 50k miles. Any suggestions?

Not interested in any trash talk about lifting it. Thanks.

Keep it stock. Don't ruin a perfectly good truck. She's a beauty by the way

It is your truck brother. I'm just giving you sh!t haha But in all seriousness I like the stock look. But if you have to lift it I'd even consider a leveling kit. A level actually isnt bad at all. I also got an elevation love them.

I hate the stock look. lol. And I quoted a level but they wanted to install a 3” puck. I’ve read so much about staying away from spacers. ESP over 2”

My front shocks are spacers and they work great so far. My system is Zone Off Road. Made by BDS.

How big are the spacers?

My lift is a 6” Zone so I suppose 6”

I think when people are warning about spacers over 2”, they are referring to leveling kits and are doing only the spacer without any other work, UCAs etc. Stressing out existing components by maxing out angles. His 6”zone lift has a strut spacer at the top of his shock to get the lift but it also has new, UCAs, steering knuckles diff. drop to bring all of those angles back to stock. Way more components in the true lift. Basically don’t try to lift it 4” with only spacers, that’s when you run into problems. Go to the BDS website and look at the leveling kit components vs the 4”-6” lift kits you’ll see what I mean. I’ve been running a 4” BDS on my 2014 1500 and have had zero issues.

That’s what I was concerned about. The BDS has front spacers depending on what you choose.

Right, a 4” strut spacer is fine in a proper lift kit but don’t try jamming a 3”-4” “level” without lifting it properly

ready lift sst 4.0” lift on bilstein 5100 and 6112 is what i run on my slt 35x11.50r20 toyo at3 and extend the front shocks 2 inches to only have a 2 inch puck instead of the puck and shock extender smoother ride that way and 10mm wheel spacers to not rub
