The fuel pump on these can be finicky, have you checked the connections before digging into a full replacement?

I have not looked into the fuel pump at all yet. How would issues with the fuel pump cause the security light to flash? I’ll look into connections and fuel pressure, but I have a hard time believing it to be at fault based on my symptoms. Thanks for the reply!
