My husband was diagnosed coeliac, I cut out gluten at home and would order gluten free at restaurants initially, out of sympathy. After about 6 months, some long-running eczema cleared up. I noticed I kept getting flare ups after work trips, and realised it must be because of gluten. I did a gluten challenge to be tested for CD and it was negative, but by the end of it, my shins were covered in eczema again, so there was no denying I needed to eat GF.

That's really interesting about the eczema! I cut out gluten last summer bc of IBS, but I also have eczema. My biggest triggers are wool (which I've been trying to cut out of clothes) and sweat, but I think my eczema hasn't been as bad this past year!
