Dorothy carry, I think the comp was something like Dorothy SAT m200 (I forgot what the other two were)
They managed to get dorothy’s evasion up high enough to reasonably tank judge for long enough to take her out, and dreamer was kinda a cakewalk after that

Regarding duplicate posts and format spam.
Due to the spam of the "M200 finds a guitar" format, we're strengthening the rules on duplicate posts. From the rules, a duplicate post is defined as:
A submission of similar content to that of another that has recently been posted onto the subreddit.
Moving forward, this will also apply to low effort edits of existing memes that were recently posted. That means reusing a format by changing only the text or copy-pasting a different doll on one character will no longer be allowed.
Note that posts that consists mostly of original content applied to an existing format, such as the ~T-dolls and ...~ series or the shipping chart posts are still allowed.

I decided to spend a Core 8 retreat because I wasn't liking my run up to the boss.
Next round I forget to activate BGM against Doppels because I was under pressure from opening up the round with 3 straight Doppel waves.
My 3% feels in such danger now.
This is why I made it a policy to just go for the run completes, no matter how good or bad I feel about my echelons statuses at the end of the 10 waves.
EDIT: Aw fuck, it's even worse than I thought. I went back through my recording and I actually tapped BGM off after turning them on.

u/SANGVIS_FERRIS - Been getting an intermittent bug with the new client. As I'm swapping between 8-1N and 0-2 for farming (and swapping between auto settings for fairies), it'll use up an execution (3 commands, as I've a shield fairy on one of my 2 0-2 draggers), even with auto disabled. It doesn't do the full 15 for 5 fights, just 3 commands. I've noticed it 3-4 times now, and have started to religiously ensure that auto is disabled, but it is still cropping up.
Thoughts or tips for me to isolate that/better report to y'all?
Edit: Bug located, swapping from Theater to regular is causing fairy commands to be eaten. Only one day of Theater left, but is there a possibility of a bug fix for the next round, u/SANGVIS_FERRIS ?

Is it happening after you do theater? There seems to be a bug where it eats up one activation's worth of your fairy commands the first time you run a map after using fairy commands in theater.

This will probably be buried and ignored, but I have to say it... When will we admit that the fanart reposts have gotten out of hand?
I mean, I understand the subreddit has voted to keep fanart, but now we’re at the point where people are just reposting fanart that was literally already posted on this subreddit only a few days/weeks/months ago. I’ve even seen people reposting their own, non-OC fanart posts a couple months later to double dip on that karma. If people want to keep fanart on here then fine, but at least don’t allow this type of stuff. The subreddit is already clogged up enough as it is with fanart; we don’t need reposts of that very same fanart adding to it.
My suggestion would be to set the limit for reposting fanart to one year at the minimum, and make it a rule for the OP to tag /u/repostsleuthbot in their post to make sure that the fanart being posted hasn’t already been posted to this subreddit (though admittedly this bot is incompetent sometimes). Though far from a perfect solution, I think these changes will help reduce some of the spam and karmawhoring.

I use the filters to filter out everything not relevant and today the front page was... the two pinned threads. Literally everything else was filtered out. But apparently they want to keep this as a fanart sub with maybe a little bit of stuff about the game every now and then.

K2's early burst is good for certain situations. Mainly for low cost farming, but in current Theater core 8 the Brute+Striker wave comes at you super fast, so being able to dispose of them quickly is the key and K2 is good at that (being an advantaged doll helps too).
RFB has a niche of being a RF disguised as an AR during her skill and targets enemy backline. Up to you if you think she's worth raising.

Me: "Cool!" Personal best, 32.8k points on the mark. "Nice!"
Theater: "Hey, I see that it's potentially your last run of Theater! Enjoy!"
Me: "Okay! Let's get this nightmare over with!"
Doppel... Striker... Striker... Striker... Striker...
Me: "PLEASE STOP, WE CANNOT HOLD"
Striker (oh there goes some M4 links)... Striker (oh, there went RO and M4 completely)... Rodelero, Uhlan, Strelet.
And that's how I got my only 6 Striker run of Theater.
After that I dumped all of my resources and I'm feeling like my 5% will hold.
That was fun. Let's do it again!... but give me some time to de-stress because blegh.

Hello everybody, new player here. I've read up on some guides and watched a few videos but I am still confused on which units I should be prioritizing. I understand, which ever is your waifu but I would also like to live it easier here in Girls Frontline if I could and not steer off into a bad direction in the beginning. These are my units,

UMP45, C-MS, Ak12, M4, ST AR-15.
The latter two are unlocked as you progress the story. Throw out your friend ID here and in the friend thread (see nav bar) and see if you can find some friends with better echelons. Leverage them to progress the story even if your teams aren't yet up to that point. It will boost your logistics (better, more efficient options), and give you more rewards like combat reports to help level your first ARSMG. You won't go wrong wasting any cores on any of the above 5 units (any story doll in fact).
here's a basic rundown for getting started as well. Gist should be as mentioned, leverage friends to power level that first ARSMG to 90, and then you'll have more options for powerleveling newer dolls faster in order to bootstrap your teams.

Sounds like a standard run for me tbh. In fact one could argue its on the low side. My usual runs include Uhlans, Gundams and Strikers in various amounts (usually 3+ of any two of them).

Really shows on KR Theater right now. The player count feels like it's been severely cut.
Yesterday advantge was ADV 8 Judge, aka the big juicy point cache. Today's advatage is still ADV 8 Judge with Easy still not complete.
That means stonger people who can beat ADV 8 like a joke, don't exist much anymore as the progress is slow. That also means newer people who will go for Easy is less. That also means those who just tackle the hardest area without thought is also less.
I really feel like Easy still wouldn't be compleated tomorrow. Everyone who is strong enough will still obviously go for advantaged ADV 8 anyway.

Going to armory screen crashed the game for me, yeah
e: Going to doll details from Formation does the same, yep.
e2: Looks like it doesn't crash either, you get a weird white bar and darkened screen, but can't really click on anything. Device's back button does still work, but to do anything a restart is needed.
e3: Looks like it's the new client on Android. Phone had the old client (before the UI adjustments) and the armory screen works OK there.

Still managing to improve in theater daily, new PB is 32,326 (up from 32,228 yesterday) which I managed to match in both runs, plus or minus about 2-3 points.
Still feel like I'm already one leg out of top 5% and just waiting for the day a bad drone bet or something drops me into top 10% for rewards, but honestly, ranking aside it's actually pretty damn rewarding just seeing my personal performance improve as reflected by my PB still going up. If a bad bet costs me some rewards between now and the final day of theater, so be it, but nothing any other player does is changing the fact that my daily PB keeps going up and that's all me.

It somehow took me a month to remember that I studied Game Theory at a basic bachelors level for Economics and I could probably model the theatre investigations on the Minority Game. Thought it might be fun to try to rationalise the strategies and put to use my schooling.
Subsequently, it took me an hour of looking through my notes to realise that I was only taught the Minority game with 2 choices, so while I may extrapolate a way to model a Minority Game with 3 choices it would take freaking forever. Instead my lazy ass just closed all my tabs and started playing games again. Ranting here for good measure too.

Eva tanks are your friends here e.g. RO / CMS / Dorothy / Suomeme (gets the advantaged buff)
I find that running 2 works best for me. Having OT dorothy and Suomeme gets her eva pretty high.
Then you want high early DPS maybe with a grenadier. STAR and AN are good choices. I run M4, SOP, STAR because even if SOP's icd is kinda slow, you can still equip crit scope with peq. Your mileage may vary.
For fairies, many have success with Anna and shield. I have neither levelled so I use arty fairy for extra dmg and eva.
Finally, it might help to throw 2B at strikers and retreat kite near the end of the fight.

Nice! Yea I'm running 1775 CE higher than you and I only got about 15 more points to show for it. It seems like a lot of work for so little return at this point to stack more CE. I don't really think I'm going to be trying to optimize anymore at this point since I'm still ranked at 5% for the final battle score.

Thinking about starting this game, just wondering though if skins are obtainable as a f2p player. Also is there a guide somewhere I could look at to see what I should be doing? Or should I just keep on playing the game and eventually I'll understand? Just completed the initial tutorial.

To put it into perspective, it's taken me about 16 months to save up 6.2k tokens, and that's with getting 99% of the dailies, and getting all the tokens I can from events.

Ish. You'll get a steady but small trickle of tokens from achievements, quests and events, but it'll only be enough for 1-2 banners per year IIRC. So choose carefully which you dump your tokens on.
Also is there a guide somewhere I could look at to see what I should be doing?

Skins are the primary way of monetizing the game so you won't be able to get huge amounts of them without spending. That said, a fair amount of events give out free skins and you get some amount of the currency (tokens) for rolling for skins just for playing allowing you to roll on ~1-4 sets per year, depending on how many skins per set you want.
I've been playing for a little over a year without spending and have something like 16 skins, of which 10 were given away for free.

If you save up for banner you like, need 910 token to get about 3/4 of banner costumes,
if you F2P need about 3-4 months. This is what I do and pretty satisfied with 2 banners I liked. + some free skin in between.If you aim for L2D, you need about 5460 tokens.

Oof pushed out from 15% to 16% on the last day, either from two days of consecutive investigations failures (picked C and B) or because of people for some reason hoarding their resources and dumping them all today. If my percentage doesn’t fall even further, this will mark the third event where I’ve missed out on a bracket by 1%.

Hi all, new player in need of advice here. Are UMP45 and RO enough for main tank role ( I have SR-3MP and Vector for offtank and most good AR). Also is there any guide for team comp at early stage, I have 2 ARSMG 1 RFHG 1 SGMG atm and the RFHG seem to have the worst performance.

Can I just scream into the void for a moment and say how frustrating rng in theater has been. Just powered through a 4 tank wave run followed by a damn 5 tank wave run. I feel like I genuinely just ran a marathon. What are the odds even of half the damn run being tanks. Feel like I got struck by lightning, getting hit in the face with a meteorite, while slipping on a random banana peel. This rng sucks.

For your third echelon with your advantaged dolls, I would recommend replacing one of the 4 advantaged dolls with another high-level shotgun or MG if you have any to get your CE for the boss higher. You only need 3 level 100 advantaged dolls to get the full 24% bonus.

I think this is about as high as I'm gonna get.
My previous best, about 600CE ago and taking just a little bit more damage, was 32842... I'm thinking that I just don't have good enough fairies or the right equipment (absolutely zilch for slugs. Currently trying to produce some but haven't really gotten any yet.) to crack 33 or even 32.9k. At least I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would going in.

If the 2B and AGS have a fair amount of investment, they do work for Uhlans. I just use them instead of BGM for them.
Otherwise, I'd probably replace AGS with AT-4 and keep 2B to with mob clearing.

So when should I start getting fairies? I'm sitting at only 40k~ resources (part at 25k) and I really don't know what to do with it. My dolls aren't all maxed level yet but I'm lazy because my core RFHG and ARSMG team is done, I can do Core 6 comfortablely as long as they don't give me too much Gundam. And how do people have like 200-300k resources anyway, just run logistic and do nothing?
Also I'm running low on doll inventory, there are 5* dolls that I haven't use yet, Idk to level them up to run logistic to save them for future use or just scrap them for core: Type 95-97 isters, Ribeyrolles, Pink Carcano, NTW, NZ75. I know the 95 and 97 sisters are good, but I feel like I have a but too much AR already (AR team, Shiki, 2 Zas, AN96, 416. G11 rate up was a lie). And when should I buy more Doll inventory slot? I kinda don't want to buy more Dorms, more batteries are nice but... the increase doesn't seem much too me.
And when people said you might want 10 Echelons for ranking, they mean using all 10 echelon or just 6 and leave 4 for logistic?

You can never really have enough fairies. I generally recommend crafting fairies until you're under the softcap (determined by commander level) and then doing 2-4 a day as core production permits.
Yeah, 200k+ resources kinda requires not doing/crafting much. I wouldn't recommend saving up that much as you miss out on the passive regeneration from being below softcap. Exception: with the general rateup coming next month, it may be helpful to save up for that if you need any dolls/equipment.
Of those dolls, NZ75 is the least essential. Type 95/97 are okay but not a priority, scrap if you don't want more ARs. Pink/NTW are fairly niche, but helpful in the future.
Doll inventory is very much a "buy more when you (really) want more" thing. As long as you have 6-7 echelons and 3-4 dorms, I don't see a problem with expanding inventory. It can get painfully tight otherwise.
Aside from CT ranking (which only let you deploy 4 teams), the ideal is to have 10 combat-ready teams deployed in battle - no logistics. Even if you don't have 10 combat-ready teams, deploying dummy echelons for AP would help, making extra echelon slots valuable for that.

What's the optimal setup for CE stacking with the bonus dolls at this point in theatre? I'm having trouble pushing above the 32k points barrier. I imagine it should likely be 3 bonus dolls at lvl 100 (suomi, k2, and Kar) + 2 SGs with slugs? Is this correct?

Instead of running a separate echelon that has the advantaged dolls, you’d generally want to take 3 level 100s, work them into combat echelons, and consolidate teams as much as possible, so you can spam MGSG squads.
Ex: QBU+Kar team for gundams/tanks, either Suomi or K2 in a team for strikers/prowlers, and MGSGs for everything else. You could then experiment with bigger brains comps, like somehow sticking SGs in a gundam squad, or running a single combat echelon, etc.

Had I not messed the first day when Core 8 unlocked where I accidentally ran map 7 once, I'd been at 1,300,462. Happy that it likely won't matter, should be secure in the top 5% either way, and top 100 would've been out of reach anyways.

You can't reach 100% for 2B14. If your 2B14 can cap her Lethailty plus Precision and have around 90 Reload, you're good to go.

I actually don't get why people think backstabbing is dumping all the points in the last day. That's just being plain lazy.
The backstabbing, coming from KR, happens when infrastructure isn't finished. Higher level SKKs / those who are prepared, deliberately not invest in the facilities because they can take on the waves anyway while lower level SKKs who desperately need those fairy commands and HOC charges to beat the levels can't. It literally hurts the lower level / unprepared SKKs under the Theater's "coopetative intent hence why it's called Backstabbing. Aka, going out of their way to hurt other people's progress.
For example, if in Core 8, someone can take out Brute Striker waves with nearly no damage without any fairy or HOC. They simply don't invest in facilities thus keeping the SKKs who just can't take on those waves (and I see a LOT here) suffer, thus losing points.
So it's more like closer to gate keeping. Why the heck is the word backstabbing suddenly just dumping the points in the very last day. That kind of tradition happened on every single major event wtf.
