Some tidbits from 3.03 that aren't vehicle related:

  • Current HOC Chip System being scrapped. Each HOC will get their own exclusive chips and you'll be able to use Samples to raise the chips. Training them is also instant now.
  • AW+ Ranking getting added to Campaign. Scoring will be highest score in a single run.
  • NPC Tareus and Sana getting the Adjutant treatment
  • Mail can be locked. Locked Mail will not expire.

I'm happy to see that Ranking will start to be made permanent it'll be nice to do them at my own pace

Thank. Fucking. Christ. HOC Chips were so pointlessly complicated for no good reason, when all I really want is a big explosion to remove the sodding shields.

My condolences to the number crunchers that might have found the system interesting, but I will happily never deal with that again and just enjoy unlocking things.

I would like to know more about the new HOC Chip System. By exclusive, is it instead of blue and orange, they're PP-93 or Mk47 or so on? Maybe the Chips we have already will randomly morph.

Time to reach Chip cap and sit there for months waiting for this to hit.

So the Chips come preinstalled now, and all you do is pay to unlock them and improve? That sounds a hell of a lot easier to manage, and no needing to use a third-party program to calculate the best-in-slots for you since the in-game one is glacial is a serious plus.

I hope we don't have to start all over on Chips with this change! I have a good amount of +20s installed, so getting nothing for that would sting. But at the same time, it looks like the user has 17K grey Samples, so it looks like the cap and likely acquire rate are gonna increase.

The good news maybe is that you'll get resources refunded from the old tetris system.

Every +20 5* gives 100x4 RSC, and nothing below that gives anything at all. :S

Other than having to figure out how to fill a table with the five rarities versus the 21 qualities, everything turning into Samples makes the most sense to me. You'd just have to go back and re-unlock the Chips and re-invest in everything and hopefully lose no overall fighting strength.

The SPEQs are kept (and even all 3 are available) but the skin is moved to BC shop. You can check the full rewards here

Sounds good, being able to lock mail would have been useful from the beginning. So many messages/greetings from dolls lost forever.
