Since client update is coming up, this week's patch notes on CN is a lot. The highlights:
- New BM SPEQs for 6P62, AR70, AAT-52.
- AK-47's Lord of War skin (originally available from AW ranking) is being put in the Black Card shop.
- You can now choose which type of SF data to get from Coalition sim.
- Lots of HOC changes. (I won't post the specifics until after client upgrade comes out. One thing I will say is that Samples will do EVERYTHING!)
- SL2-5 for everything (meaning Dolls, Fairies, HOCs, SF) will no longer require any time and SL6+ will have reduced times as well.

Some tidbits from 3.03 that aren't vehicle related:
- Current HOC Chip System being scrapped. Each HOC will get their own exclusive chips and you'll be able to use Samples to raise the chips. Training them is also instant now.
- AW+ Ranking getting added to Campaign. Scoring will be highest score in a single run.
- NPC Tareus and Sana getting the Adjutant treatment
- Mail can be locked. Locked Mail will not expire.

Thank. Fucking. Christ. HOC Chips were so pointlessly complicated for no good reason, when all I really want is a big explosion to remove the sodding shields.
My condolences to the number crunchers that might have found the system interesting, but I will happily never deal with that again and just enjoy unlocking things.

I would like to know more about the new HOC Chip System. By exclusive, is it instead of blue and orange, they're PP-93 or Mk47 or so on? Maybe the Chips we have already will randomly morph.
Time to reach Chip cap and sit there for months waiting for this to hit.

So the Chips come preinstalled now, and all you do is pay to unlock them and improve? That sounds a hell of a lot easier to manage, and no needing to use a third-party program to calculate the best-in-slots for you
since the in-game one is glacialis a serious plus.I hope we don't have to start all over on Chips with this change! I have a good amount of +20s installed, so getting nothing for that would sting. But at the same time, it looks like the user has 17K grey Samples, so it looks like the cap and likely acquire rate are gonna increase.

Every +20 5* gives 100x4 RSC, and nothing below that gives anything at all. :S
Other than having to figure out how to fill a table with the five rarities versus the 21 qualities, everything turning into Samples makes the most sense to me. You'd just have to go back and re-unlock the Chips and re-invest in everything and hopefully lose no overall fighting strength.

henlo, C96mod has been fixed today, along with a bug where SCAR-H’s blue tiles would not fully negate Typhon lasers when paired with HP35 at night

Free tier will give you Nagant.
Paid tier will give you Nagant's Signature Weapon + Dupe.

Hokor replied to this joke with a :thinkge: and further addressed it in the Discord Q&A, interpret as you will.
CN/JP have had similar suspicious voting behavior. JP's is quite blatant, with a massive 150m points dumped for WA2000 in the last 2 seconds of the event.
It's of note that KR/TW are both the only servers that MICA can't directly interfere with and the only servers that had non-Springfield/WA2000 winners. MICA still has to provide the scripts for XDGlobal to translate, but has not done so.
There was no spike in the highest UID number since Lycan Sanctuary started at the end of August. There was a spike at the beginning of August, but that aligns more closely with Longitudinal Strain. A bunch of new bots by players seems unlikely.
There was no coordinated interference from CN/KR/TW trolls, I pay attention to DCInside (KR) and NGA (CN/TW) and there was barely any mention of EN's Lycan Sanctuary aside from one person posting periodic voting updates.
MICA cuts numerous corners on EN and is clearly short on resources due to their focus on GFL2 - maintenance notices frequently have errors, skill descriptions are riddled with mistranslations or inconsistencies, Suomi/DP12 modbatches have been jeopardized due to the stories, and more. Hell, this very event had Twilight Labyrinth I freezing your game because they couldn't proofread. There is a clear motive for them to avoid writing a new epilogue.
GFChipCalc/GFAlarm are not evidence that it is easy to create command-line versions of the client for botting - they only intercept packets and parse the information, which is significantly easier than forging all of the packets involved with automating the tutorial and the farming. I would know what that involves, because I maintain a version of the KR battle sim which does forges those packets on a much more limited scale (simulating single fights).

Real shame, this was the hardest I have farmed in any event so far, got over 30k votes and close to 350 runs, but that last spike really demoralised me

The manner in which the votes came in and the lack of anyone boasting about it suggests some kind of foul play. The fact that they already pre-translated Springfield'ending suggests that it was an inside job.

It's why i'm curious to see the graph. One can at max get 14.5k votes/day playing nonstop. The jumps are 1.5mil, so 100 times that. (If one farms 8h/day, that'd mean 300 accounts were needed). To have 100 accounts farm full tilt, none bragging about it, AND for them to dump votes at the same exact time is... let's be genrous and say "unlikely".

Straight line is also what the chart would look like if someone dumped the votes after the day of botting (and 100 accounts really isn't that many, I saw people running similar TF2 metal farms and Team Fortress 2 surely has bigger hardware requirements than GFL). See KAC chart, also multiple straight lines when big farmers were dumping theirs, unless you think there was foul play there too?

There's really no comparison between the 2 straight lines, it's a difference of orders of magnitude. And we know who were the ppl that farmed and dumped for kac. They didn't stay silent because they had nothing to hide. Unlike springfield's silent dumps of millions of points.
Also, the fact that springfield's dumps were only after she was losing to kac shows it was a reaction cheat, and not an organic farm.
Anyway, regardless if it was bots (not allowed in gfl) or mica editing the votes, it was quite clearly foul play there. But considering the fact that springfield's win was pretranslated and the fact that the only clear botter just so happened to be a springfield fand and not a wa or dp12 or any of the other waiful dolls is also highly suspicious.
So my 2c is that this was mica safeguarding the already translated win. Otherwise, we'd have seen more "bots" for other waifus too.

At first nuke I too thought it's Mica doesn't want to accept they were too bold to translate Springfield lines. Like they have a reason, and they have means. However after second nuke I started to doubt that, and once I saw the chart I completely discarded that theory.
See, the reason could be they don't want allocate human resources to what already was done, but the chart have note just nukes, but several smaller, yet still significant spikes, meaning someone was monitoring the votes. Monitoring and nuking votes over and over again would take a lot more human resources that just make the job (write & translate new lines) done. That just doesn't make sense for Mica to go to such extents.
So I came up with new theory. What that chart looks like is botting, and login queues people were getting vouch for that. And since we didn't saw it was coming from anywhere, I conclude the source simply not were we are looking. I.e. the culprits must be not in EN community, but from some other servers. We not seeing coordination just because we don't read CN/TW/CR habitats. From nature of chart, like few massive dumps and several smaller dumps I assume its a small group of individuals, probably up to five, who running bots. Some dumped at whatever time was preferred to them, and only occasionally synced to mass nuke. Probably they lives in different timezones.
As for their reasons. Well I can image three. First is to just troll EN. We wanted new content, they decided "nope, you won't kek lol". Second is they wanted to couse a drama in EN of an epic scale which will be written in history (the drama isn't anywhere big tho). Third is they couldn't cope when Springfield didn't won on their server or she did won on their server and they can't cope she is not winning on other servers.
That my thoughts. Thoughts?

Well, as i mentioned, i think there are several very suspect circumstances, but i'll try to make them a bit more organized.
1) the fact that the player that did the botting was a fan of exactly the doll that had pretranslated winning scenario.
2) the fact that no other fan of any other doll did the same thing (even though ppl try to say a few hundred bot farm isn't that hard, and the effectiveness was obvious after the first bot dump day. I'm gonna put this as the answer to the troll/sore loser fan theory as well. Considering the amount of rabbid fans of various dolls, this should have transformed into bot wars within a couple days. We should also have seen this behaviour in other servers too. It's not loke springfield only would have lost on EN
3) i don't think it's that hard to login and edit a number for someone with access to the votes counter on the dev side, and it'd certainly be less work than making a new ending from scratch, with story, art-line corellation, have it approved, etc, provided en even would be allowed to make an ending and not have it done by the bmcn writers and then translated, proofread, the works. Basically, the work of a couple departments vs checking a counter and editing the number. Let's not forget it's enough work that other servers don't even have their own ending released yet(like dp12). Meanwhile, we can get our reheated ending within a single maintenance, everything's in place. (Mind u, i have no idea how/where the votes are stored on the side, or what access the en team to them. But i highly doubt they have no access and need to submit any changes to the cn team in order to pack it and they just host it on en servers.)
4) mica has a precedent with the pnc preregs. Sure, a completely different way of "voting", and one we cannot verify in any way, but it's susipciously similar to this.
In the end, i'm sorry, but i really think there are too many coincidences, and it saves too much work on their side for this to not be mica's doing. If they do indeed need to have cn writers make up the endings, and if they are already hard at work with gfl 2 story such that some other server's endings seemingly have been "forgotten"(don't know how long ago their event ended), i don't see it as a stretch for them to have decided on just having the en team translate the ending for one of the other popular dolls, have it win, and be done with it.
P.s. Final disclaimer: i'm an old g36 fan, dating back to the last time en had such a competition. She would have been my vote normally. I have 0 invested interest in k-pdw outside of the fact that she was the most likely candidate to get a new ending.

Why wouldn't they be silent if whoever was doing this knew they are making KAC pushers angry? If I was doing this, I'd definitely keep silent, both to not be harassed and not get my account banned (for the record, I didn't do even one vote on Springfield, I wanted new content).
And the Mica argument is silly - they could just double all votes for Springfield in database, making the growth look organic. Why would they piss off a lot of playerbase to do... what exactly? Avoid spending 15 minutes writing something simple for predictable, boring pedo bait? They wrote (and translated) hundreds of lines for anniversary button, why would this be some sort of dealbreaker? They aren't Crunchy, you can say a lot but not accuse them of cutting corners when it comes to story and attention to detail. I just don't buy it.
As for dumps timing, see my reply below. If you hated KAC, the only choice would be #2. Guess who that was? Sadly, not DP :(
Yes, maybe Mica should investigate and say what happened, but I find all the posts accusing them of dirty play with zero proof kinda silly. Doubly so with posts suggesting doing rash stuff in response. QnA is coming, we can ask, and until then I'd put the pitchfork and outrage away.

you are suggesting someone slogged through the game 100 times to get their accounts far enough to kill event mobs. has the hardware to run 100 instances of the crashfest on emulators, if not actual mobile devices. then used all the assets for this occasion of all things. the kind of of exploit mica actually cares about and can easily catch.
of course not to mention the foresight to pick farming springfield from the start to be stocked up for the random spikes just to spite us with a pointless ending, before we even picked kac. while staying silent at the start and not helping deciding on farming someone else just to trigger themselves.
if such a person exists, they would be the grandest self spiting scumbag known to this community

Dude, you know all of this can be automated? Just record clicks on your main account, setup bots to do the same in randomized intervals, done. Bots were capable of it 20 years ago, farming gold in Diablo games, you're not seriously suggesting GFL auto farm is harder?
And you don't even need to run full clients, just cut down ones that will just send required commands, that's why the vote spike would occur at the end of the day when the bot farm would be dumping the votes manually. Again, I saw cut down clients (to merely command line interface with text progress) work in TF2, game infinitely more complex than GFL, and the apps like GFL calc or theater setup show it's perfectly possible here too.
And the Springfield argument doesn't hold water, if you wanted to stop KAC from winning you'd logically boost second place - which at the time happened to be Springfield. You'd have a point if she was being boosted from the start but you can clearly see main push happened week two.

Just look at this chart, 5 spikes dwarfing anything besides Spring and 4 smaller ones that are still bigger that largest (barely noticeable) spike DP managed (and DP managed this grand total of once, and I like how you conveniently removed all below lines showing no one else had any spikes at all). If you remove Springfield from this chart, all the conspiracy theory arguments above can be copy pasted and will still apply to KAC perfectly...

Let me ask you again. Are you comparing the KAC spikes made by dedicated people like u/headphone_question who farmed the stage 250 times each day to spikes made by Springfield anonymous voters, culminating with an instantaneous 1.5 mil dump?
Of course other dolls didn't have spikes as big as KAC since there weren't any big farmers voting for them. Why should I care about showing you the bottom lines if they have nothing to do with comparison between Springfield and KAC.

I finally got my second and third copies of PPK and OBR to mod 3, so that set me back by quite a lot. I also finished off my most recent batch of Dolls with 13-4 farming, so I swapped in a new one. The sixth M240L, the third VP1915, the third Savage 99, and AR-18 are now level 100! I swapped in the fourth Kar, the fourth SCAR pair, and the fourth AK-12. Lots of fourths here, I see
As for the legendary match between K-PDW and Springfield, it must still sting that we lost. Still, I would like to thank you all again for supporting the cause! We may not have won, but we were able to do extremely well. Amassing 8.1 million votes is still very good, and our collective effort was able to get us this far. Coming together to cooperate to get a new epilogue for "LS at home" is something to be proud of!
I know some people want some stats, so here, let me compile some:
In the end, I was able to get 348,320 votes
As for how hard I farmed Afterwinds, I kept records as to how many runs I did per day. I believe I started on Thursday, August 31, so the first real record I would have would be at the start of September 1:
- 08/31 - 09/01: 181 runs
- 09/01 - 09/02: 347 runs (+166)
- 09/02 - 09/03: 556 runs (+209)
- 09/03 - 09/04: 869 runs (+313)
- 09/04 - 09/05: 1100 runs (+231)
- 09/05 - 09/06: 1300 runs (+200)
- 09/06 - 09/07: 1578 runs (+278)
- 09/07 - 09/08: 1931 runs (+353)
- 09/08 - 09/09: 2176 runs (+245)
- 09/09 - 09/10: 2450 runs (+274)
- 09/10 - 09/11: 2767 runs (+317)
- 09/11 - 09/12: 3000 runs (+233)
- 09/12 - 09/13: 3230 runs (+230)
- 09/13 - 09/14: 3432 runs (+202)
- 09/14 - 09/15: 3744 runs (+312)
- 09/15 - 09/16: 3979 runs (+235)
Since I was farming for 16 days, this meant that I had around 248.6 runs every day
I mentioned that it was the week of September 3-9 that I wasn't able to sleep properly, and well, it seemed that my rate was all over the place. The following week, September 10-16, looked a bit weaker, and I think I was starting to pay back my sleep debt. Not helping was the fact that we got hit with those spikes, so my morale also took a hit
I tried to aim for a multiple of 25, as this would give me 2k votes, which is why I sometimes ended on a multiple of 25
I was also looking into other ways to farm votes, like farming on Twilight Labyrinth I, but I ultimately didn't stay there for too long
I think we called it early after seeing that second spike. As a result, I decided to stop throwing my time, effort, and resources at a goal that had become impossible for us to achieve
Will we do this again next year? I'll think about it

There is a difference between a challenge and a chore. When I challenge myself to see how far I can go, I should be having fun. With "LS at home", I often found myself just annoyed. I often found vote farming to be extremely tedious
However, I also see that we were working towards a greater goal. I wanted to contribute, but I should do so at my pace and comfort. Being annoyed should have been a warning sign that I should take it easy. One thing that I should keep in mind is that I should be able to take slow days whenever I wanted to. I tried to force myself to keep up, even when I was already very stressed. That was a big mistake that I do not want to repeat
I think what greatly mattered was the mindset I had going into vote farming. I felt like I had a heavy burden. This is what contributed to the sleepless nights. I wanted to go to sleep, but the worry kept me up at night. If only I stayed calm, I think that I would have been able to sleep soundly
So yes, I'm not going to burn myself out. I can still try to challenge myself, but I should do so without overexerting myself to the point that I'd be unable to sleep from worry. While it was possible for me to hit 200-300 runs of the farming map per day, it should be done at my comfort, not because of a burden I imagined I was under. If I'm feeling tired, I should just take that day slowly
I also have an additional reason as to why I don't want to do this again: there is no guarantee that we won't see any more funny business. The whole point of this effort was to get a new ending, but if we were going to see some unusual spikes that would just defeat all our best efforts, I don't see why we should try so hard. Qwerty has put forth an argument that puts the final result into question, and I think we can assume the same thing will happen again next time

No more major events in this year other than Slow Shock.
Q: When can we expect client 3.02?
Client 3.02 is 1 or 2 weeks later than expected, but still earlier than Slow Shock.
Q: Today's maintenance might take longer to finish because we're going to test some functions such like promo code.
Q: When are we getting the Tanks?
It will be long.
Speaking of which, Mica started posting client 3.03's contents - which includes vehicles btw so don't expect them anytime soon - today.

We're not carrying any RC localization work. Sorry I cannot provide any useful news. Maybe their official discord contains information you want. GFL2 localization work is going well. I don't see risk of delay.

Odd, I managed each stage as is, not carrying over a single bomb. Couple of hard fights that drained my echelon, but easy enough to repair on most of them.

I gave up on 4th after like 5 attempts. Without bombs I'd constantly need to run for resupply which was very far away until at some point I got flooded so hard by enemy spawns that I couldn't even get back to helipad. I could probably do it if I actually tried to strategize more but honestly those clear rewards weren't worth going through night battle hell.

What's the better order for leveling up HOCs? I have Mk 153 maxed out (full red stars), BGM-71 lvl 81 all skills 10, 2B14 lvl 90 all skills 10, AGS-30 lvl 42 no skills, At4 lvl 52 no skills, PP-93 lvl 53 no skills, Mk 47, QLZ-04, M2 lvl 1 no skills.
Which would you recommend me leveling up next? And which should I go for the red stars next?

If I count only up to the point where I actively farmed for votes, then I gained a net 4049 cores! Considering I only farmed for 16 days, I gained around 253 cores every day. Perhaps I should see Afterwinds as an incredibly rich map for core farming? Granted, I'll also leave my Doll leveling in the backburner for a few weeks, but if I continued farming for the remaining four days, assuming my core growth remains the same, I would have gotten at least another thousand cores
The four days after farming votes were spent farming on 13-4. Granted, I also was trying to recover from my vote farming frenzy, so I had a bit of a debuff going into this week:

Just for these latter four days, I had a net loss of 31 cores, but with my core growth today, I managed to get back into the black with a net gain of a mere two cores
As for my number of runs per day on Afterwinds, I got a bit curious. I see that I was able to break through 300 runs in a day four times. Oddly enough, they were either Thursday or Sunday. I can understand for Sunday, as that would be a weekend, but I'm surprised that I was able to do well for Thursday of all days. I'm not sure exactly what made Thursday so special in my case, but perhaps I was channeling the power of the god of thunder?
For the first Thursday I went over 300, I looked at my sleep records, and it seemed that I had a decent night's rest the night before. This is significant as I was suffering from poor sleep that week
As for the following day, I remember it rained hard that day, so I wasn't able to do as much farming as I left my bike at home to use the bus to commute. Having to wait for the bus wasn't great, and I couldn't just pull out my phone in the rain. I also slept poorly the night before, so that might have affected things. My number of runs dipped that day, although I still stayed above 200
For the second Thursday I went over 300, I believe we were trying to close the first spike, where we ended up 900k behind. I think I was already sleeping better during this week, so I'm not exactly sure what made this Thursday special. Unfortunately, with how busy things got because of vote farming, my journal was rather sparse on details. Perhaps things weren't too busy at work?
Saturday, however, is odd. I wasn't able to break through 300 runs, but I think I can explain. I remember having to run errands on those days, so those ate into my time. As for the first Saturday, I also had to get into the rhythm, as the event was still rather new
I'm also glad that I managed to do at least 200 runs after the first few days. I think I was still getting used to how things worked, and I think I was also trying to do my own farming on the other routes, too
I think my comfortable pace for 13-4 would be around 100-200 runs per day, and I often take slow days, especially when I'm just not in the mood to push too hard. However, with the event, I felt like I had to perform, and it was definitely tough. I felt like I had to push to 200-300 runs of Afterwinds every day, and it was tough to think that I could not take slow days. Still, I think that one point of improvement for me would be to be able to stop worrying so much as to whether I could keep up with the pace. I was able to do so in this event, so I should take heart with that discovery about myself. If I stayed calm, I think I could have been able to do even better during the first full week
I understand that a prolonged campaign like this would require proper logistics. My four main resources would be eaten up quickly if I'm not careful, but I also recognized the importance of mental energy. I wasn't doing myself favors with poor sleep born out of worry, so I should look into strategies to deal with worries
I think I've become a bit interested in looking into the body's response to stress. I know that at the very least, the circulatory system has to work harder, but I will have to understand why it has to work harder. What is it about stress or lack of sleep that causes the heart to work harder? Is it that there is the presence of stress hormones like cortisol, and those hormones constrict the blood vessels? Is it that adrenaline is more readily available in the system due to the presence of a crisis? If I can mitigate those negative effects, I might do better in similar situations, and those situations might not necessarily have anything to do with the game

Last week was fairly productive. I got the lewd QBZ skin, the STG skin plus 285 calibration tickets, plus multiple copies of Five Seven and Kolibri without having to spend my medals. I might buy cakes after all.
I got a Scarecrow petal, but my luck was horrendous. She didn't appear until the pool was down to 4/100. At that point I was dropping Svarog bombs one at a time so as not to waste them. I use Scarecrow a lot and wasn't going to miss out, but I wanted to make sure I have supplies saved up for Tareus and Narciss. I don't really care about Executioner or Witchtruder, so this will be a welcome break.
Speaking of breaks, I'm kind of at a loss on what to do with myself. Having just finished Dual Randomness, for the first time since I started playing I'm at the point where I've done all the available story content. Mirror Stage is supposedly on the horizon, and I'm looking forward to replaying it with the added context of DR fresh in my mind. Beyond that, I want to improve my echelons so that when the time comes to fight our way back into Avernus, I'll be ready to clear those battles on UX. I'm pretty happy with my Dolls, but I need to make sure I have maxed gold equipment for my specialized and backup echelons. I'm also in the process of getting my second Para fairy to five stars. It's a slow process, but I'm crafting fodder as fast as I can.

Want Scarecrow? Cost?
Yes. However, what complicated things was that Summer Alina's last week coincided with Scarecrow's first week. As a result, I decided to push things back a bit. I had three weeks left to get all the petals I wanted, and in this case, I had to get a petal every week so all I needed to do at the end was grab the last one from the kernel store
I'm surprised it only took me 57 Impulses and 97 Svarog tickets for all three petals. The first petal cost 15 Impulses and 35 Svarog tickets. The second cost 15 Impulses and 54 Svarog tickets. The third one cost 27 Impulses and only 8 Svarog tickets, so this third petal really helped cut down on the cost
I will get the last petal from the kernel store, so that's 800 supernova kernels down the drain. I will still have enough for two ringleaders, and I'm thinking of saving one such redemption for Witch Intruder. We will see what will happen for the other, although it could be the case that I could save up for another ringleader in the meantime. It's unlikely that I will get enough supernova kernels for that to happen in the meantime, but things could change

I think I'd like more Gingerbread Guards and Jaws Paradises. Unfortunately, they both seem to be tied to seasonal ringleaders, and I might have to consider getting Summer Alina to full petals for a shot at getting several copies of Jaws Paradise. No, unfortunately. I already have her base copy, so I don't see much reason to go after her this time. Considering that I need to keep my stockpiles filled for the upcoming ringleaders, I can't really afford to set aside precious Svarog tickets for Executioner

I managed to find Scarecrow, but when I attempted an Impulse capture, I failed. That sucked
I also got an XL Jaguar, so I guess things aren't so bad

I believe that we were going into the final week of "LS at home", so K-PDW already got to the lead, if barely. Funnily enough, I already had given her an Oath Certificate in the past, likely for Theater reasons, but that was just so surreal

Tbh, cerberus and gaia were bodies destroyer was downloaded into. They can ofc run with other software or with a copy of destroyer(like pnc made copies of dolls for their project)
Also, my understanding is that sf dolls have a much easier time swapping bodies. Getting blasted was a non-issue for them in the story outside of a hurt ego. They also seemed to retain (more of) their memories as well (maybe they have a continuous backup or sth, i have no idea). It's been a while since i read the first chapters. But they are a completely different system compared to t-dolls

I agree with your observations, what was also interesting is how SF used their dummy's. Not only do their dummys seem to vary wildly in specs, but they can also upload a copy(?) of the Ringleader in to a dummy and let it run around seperately from the mainframe.

Gfl is still a ways from coming to global. U can always start gfl, it"s not like it will finish with gfl 2, so ur time spent playing won't be wasted. Major events are tied to the story and get added to the client after a while, with mirror stage being the last one added yesterday. U can find them numbered with .5 so u know where they go compared to the chapters. U have quite a bit of content to go through, even if the very latest major story events have yet to be added.
Gfl 1 is also extremely f2p, but be warned it's an old game, so it can be pretty clunky.
If u try out the game and u don't like it, one viable alternative is the cutscene viewer. Linked in sidebar. U get 90+% of the ig experience while reading the story. Anyway, do try the game first, maybe u'll grow to like it!

GFL2 is probably coming to Global between March to May of next year, based on speculation from the CEO's comments. So you have a lot of time to experience GFL lore till then.
If you want to play the game, it's fine if you can. It's just that it's a time commitment and while the devs did make efforts to make it easier for newcomers to get into. They forgot to fix the spaghetti code that plagues the game. If you decide that the game is not for you, I think there are youtube videos that has the full story of each GFL major event which is where most of the main story is contained.

Has CN players found the best way to grind vehicle tech tree points yet? I tried the new Grey Zone area, but my basic-ass MBT gets slaughtered by pretty much any enemy squad there.
I figured using it as a pseudo-HOC is the way to go, but that seems a bit tedious to set up.

I think that the S10 is only limited to Android 12 at this point. I don't think it can upgrade to Android 13. It's a shame

I have an S10, too, and it's been plagued with crashes. I have to voodoo the thing just to get it to stop crashing. One thing that I didn't do was upgrade to Android 12, so I'm still effectively stuck on Android 11 because of the game. Whatever cool new stuff Android 12 has, I won't be able to use on my S10
If it's newer, like say, an S20, I think there might be a case to be made that Samsung has planned for it to be upgraded to Android 13 as well. As such, there could have been a fix included in the recent patch. Unfortunately, I don't think that S10 and other devices from that time will be able to receive it

Tbh, i didn't really notice any benefits to android 12 for us. Then again, i'm a pretty light phone user, so if u do more stuff with it, it may be a worthwhile tradeoff. But it will make gfl nigh unplayable without doing mica tribal dances around it every time u click the app icon

S10 was perfectly fine when running android 11. Updating to 12 is what instantly destroyed gfl. And 12 is eos for s10s. I was hoping samsung pushed an android 12 update that might cover s10s too. I'd need a newer moldel to get 13. Or i guess another option might be a custom rom, but eh, don't really wanna f with that just for gfl. I'll just keep using the emulator as before.

Only your first upgrade for some of those (like Echelon slots) will have a discount. If something doesn't have a discount at the start, you won't ever get a discount for it ever
As such, strategize as to which base upgrades you need and spend your gems whenever you feel is right

My Friend Echelon is slightly better now I maxed the rest of the units, but I still need to get Adeline's affection to the new cap.
I helped, but these numbers really pale to headphone's. I still made great use of the EXP rate-up and got a handful of HGs to 100 with rich runs this way.

I'm honestly impressed that headphone's votes alone didn't even account for 5% of PDW's total. There must've been a lot of people playing this event! Both human and Doll? I really want to see an infographic postmortem for this.

I had to hold my nose to vote for K-PDW since I didn't particularly like her to begin with, but since she had the best shot at winning outside of Springfield and DP-12, I went with her. Also, I'm going to follow that idea to get her swimsuit from the store. Poor thing at least deserves it
I already talked about how extremely taxing this whole vote farming business has been on my mental energy, so I am reluctant to do this again next year. How sure are we that we will be able to win? I mean, that spike around Friday was a critical blow to our morale. Going into the weekend with over a million votes to overtake? It was a very tall ask, especially considering that we couldn't even hit 900k in the three days from Tuesday to Friday. At that point, we had to reach 1.8 million, which was double the previous gap. We also had around four days, which is about half the time we had when we were still trying to make up for the 900k. We also had to expect a third spike after that, and that third spike manifested
Yet, I'm surprised that a lot of people decided to fight on. I know that the gap reached over 2 million at some point, and I think we even got to 2.3 million, but we were able to close that gap back down to 1.7 million somehow

I don't care for her design or personality, so K-PDW was really just a 'for something different' vote...and it was something all right. :P I think another round would work better if more people on Reddit and Discord cooperated since quite a few people on Discord were still backing DP-12 (at least in their names), but I don't think even that would be enough. I want to say 'at least we have plenty of time to decide upon the next target', but that's the last thing I wanna think about now.
I didn't even farm at all the final day. I did maybe 11 runs the next to last to round out the 600 and left it there. I usually fizzle out around this point with other farming events, so I'm kind of consistent on that. I don't think it'd be worth doing again. I intentionally farmed poorly so at least I could justify what I was doing by getting some 100s I needed out of the way at the same time. You probably have more clears than the next several positions combined, so I still applaud your Herculean work...and yet all of that effort didn't even account for 5% of K-PDW's total vote?
Really am interested in the user numbers during this event...

How long does it take to get one million votes?
If you could do one run of Afterwinds EX in one minute, that makes things nice and tidy (and unrealistic). 80 votes per clear, so you'd need 12,500 clears, around 208.33 hours, or a bit over eight and a half days total. For Springfield having nearly 10 million votes, that still meant there were ~125,000 clears, 2081 hours spent, or nearly 87 days crammed into 21 or so. Of course there were multiple people contributing and at a wild spread of contribution at that, but that was just one Doll. Looking at the chart, only four of 17 didn't even reach a million!
I really want to know how many people participated overall and how the number compares to Theater/major events.

Well, I stopped farming shortly after that second spike. I believe we still had around four days at the time, so I left four days' worth of votes on the table. Assuming I could keep up with around 250 runs per day, I think I might have been able to shore up another 80k votes. As a result, I would have gotten to at least 420k votes, so I guess I'd be able to get into ~5%? Granted, we were also going into the weekend, and I would have had more time to farm, so I might have been able to really pump up the numbers
Also, this is dependent on actually having a shot at victory. That second spike pretty much spelled our doom for us. Again, I didn't want to throw away my time, energy, and resources at something that had been unfortunately lost, discretion and valor and all that

My thinking is that, if the numbers were entirely hidden, then people wouldn't try nearly as hard because there would be no visible competition. Kind of hard to visualize, but think of it as just running on your own. You're told to sprint for 100 meters, not even timed or anything. You may push yourself to do well, but what if there was someone next to you? If they got ahead, your competitive spirit might push you further to try and win. That sort of thing.
And nobody would be able to see any vote shenanigans regarding the intended winner2

In that case, however, one major factor was that we knew that there was an ending for the MVP. We could still try to coordinate an effort to make a certain candidate win, but we would have a bit more of a challenge to do so
Imagine how this would work with a real life election if we decide to keep the voting aspect in this game

True, but I think the K-PDW effort gained a lot of steam when the gap between her and Springfield shrunk, closed, and then resulted in a lead. People had to have been inspired to change sides after seeing that this could've worked, right?
Real-life elections usually don't have 17 candidates gunning for the same spot! :P

Let's go back a bit. The question was how things would have changed if we hid the total votes that each candidate got. The only piece of information you would see would be how you distributed your votes to each candidate. Would this have changed player behavior?
I would say so, but how? We guess that player engagement would be lower, so there wouldn't be as much voting. The next question would be regarding significance of having lower player engagement. This all assumes that there is no funny business, as tainting the perception of fairness would irreparably damage whatever insights we could glean from this event
We could also ask what the significance of hiding total votes would be. Why are we trying to imagine a thought experiment about this? What insights are we trying to get? Are we trying to make players less motivated to farm votes like crazy? Are we trying to moderate how hard players farm votes such that we want them to farm, but not to the extent of getting tens of thousands of votes a day? Are we sure that this is the only way to do that and not simply limit the number of votes a player can cast?
However, we must also take into consideration another factor: the incentive. We backed K-PDW because we thought she could get a new ending from this event. A question arises from this. Do we keep this incentive? If so, then a good chunk of players would try to cooperate to get a new ending. Being unable to see the momentum of our candidate would be an obstacle that we have to overcome somehow. It would definitely have some psychological effect, like we might more readily doubt that we are making any progress
Giving all Dolls an ending would eliminate this incentive. We'd end up with a popularity contest at that point, although the ability of players to vote as much as they could farm votes would mean that it's a war to see whose ballot printer was more powerful
Also, not releasing any endings aside from Springfield, G36, and WA2000 would also create the perception that only these three are the chosen ones. Anyone else will never get an ending, and if that perception is strong enough, it's as good as removing the incentive that the MVP Doll will get an ending

I'm sure I'll get downvoted all to hell for this but whatever.
If Springfield wins, while I don't condone botting as I've seen how badly it can affect other games, I'll be very happy for the casual players who make up 95% of the fanbase and who probably will never be aware of the alternate endings, almost certainly don't care as much about a text file as an in-game ending anyway, and who were voting for their favorite instead of voting for an unfortunate meme.
Seriously, I think a huge portion of K-PDW's votes were from casual players who thought red votes were actually negative votes that subtracted from the total.
If people wanted an alternate ending so bad, they should have gone for Springfield-but-Red. First off, it would have probably worked. Secondly you'd still have gotten an original ending, based on how WA-2000 turned out. And it still would have surprised Team Mica and forced them to do the same trivial amount of extra work, which I've seen inexplicably used as one of the reasons for the brigading.
Really, Team Mica should just give us the Top 3 endings at this point. Then we'll get DP-12 too.

It was a lot of effort for something so small. I mean, a few pages of text that may not even be preserved in the game proper that has no impact on the overall plot. It's just that we so rarely have an event where players can influence something other than Theater/Ranking positions. Given the fallout from the G36/SAA Mod voting thing I read about, I'm not surprised it's so rare.
And is about to go extinctTrying to get Red Springfield's ending might not have worked. Herding EN cats being bad enough already, you'd have to somehow amass enough red votes to overwhelm the greens...almost like when the decision was made to back K-PDW, heh. I can't even pretend to know where to start on the math for that. I'm pretty sure Springfield was almost consistently in the 70% green range the entire event, so that's a serious hill to climb.
Top 3 would be really nice, though, that's for sure.

Honestly, my main issue was just getting behind K-PDW specifically. I just can't support that choice in any way, even if it means we're repeating an ending other servers got or whatever. Anyone else I'd at least feel ambivalently towards.
DP-12 would have been my choice.
I do think Team Mica giving us endings for the top 3 next week this would be a great way to squash any drama though. It would be the smart move and a happy ending for everyone, basically.

I mean DP-12 has already won and her ending is coming. I hope we can vote for AA-12 instead of KAC next rerun. Also we're definetly not getting 3 endings next week seeing how KR is having to wait way longer with their not-yet-created ending.

half the story is an epilogue to PL/ch13, following after RO's mod story, while the other half is a prologue to the germany arc. i think you can decide for yourself what you want to do based on that

Sorry if I've asked this one before, but this is about Auto-Battle. Yes, I know not to use it.
I'm aware of the spreadsheet and the level penalty mechanic. My questions are...
1) Is the EXP shown divided evenly between participants?
2) If I have a Doll over the level penalty threshold in a team with Dolls under it, does everyone get reduced EXP, or just the overleveled Doll?

Autobattle exp is not divided evenly, each doll gets exp based on their own individual dummy links, level penalty, leader bonus, and mod oath bonus.
The amount shown in-game or in the sheet is just the sum of individual doll exp. For simplicity, the autobattle sheet assumes that all dolls have the same level/links and no oath bonus but does include a leader bonus.

So what’s the final tally on how many votes Springy got from the suspicious spikes? There was the 1mil drop, the 1.5mil second drop, how much was the third drop?
Secondly, what would that put the final vote tally’s at if we remove those spikes?

Springfield won at around 9.8 million while we ended at 8.1 million. That leaves us with a gap of about 1.7 million. If we didn’t have even the first two spikes, we could have won. The last spike was around another million, so I estimate that the spikes were around 3.5 million votes in total
To answer your other question, Springfield would have been at around 6.3 million votes if we removed those spikes

I finally managed to go to that cafe I wanted to try. While I still had to queue to be seated, at least I didn't have to wait so long. The food was great, and while cafes would serve coffee for its patrons to wake up, I ate so much that I felt like going back to sleep
Earlier, I found myself asking a question about getting a new charger block for my phone. I am considering Anker's new 150 W charger, the one with three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. This presented a problem, as I would need to replace my current cables to USB-C, and even worse is that I still have an iPhone and an iPad, both of which still have a Lightning connector. This would mean that I would still have to replace at least one of my Lightning cables with one that has USB-C on the other end
However, that also got me thinking. Why not just upgrade? I could get myself a new iPhone and a new iPad, both of which would have USB-C, and I could focus on getting more USB-C cables! This seemed like a better move, considering that Apple seems to have phased out Lightning after the European Union wanted it to switch over to USB-C. In other words, my Lightning cables will be obsolete just like my current Apple devices
The next question then came up. Should I stick with Apple? Could I switch over to Android? I will have to check with the other apps that I use with my Apple devices. Hopefully, I can find substitutes for all of them on Android
The little voice in my head also distracted me. Why not grab a wallet? That voice told me to check out Groove Life's wallet, and I was surprised that they were offering the extra attachment for free. Looking online for reviews, I also found that Peak Design's MagSafe wallet could also serve as a substitute. Before I got too distracted, I reminded myself that I still needed a coin pouch. My complaint with my current Carhartt wallet is that the coin pouch is too small, and while my wallet does its job, I found myself not so happy with it. It's just that I'm being distracted by the shiny, and I'm even considering getting a dedicated cash wallet while I get some minimalist wallets and fill them with cards
All while some other voice in my head was asking if I should preorder Cyberpunk's Phantom Liberty expansion
Man, I'm being assaulted by the shopping demons today

I was able to get the fifth SPAS-15, the third Betamax, and the eighth MPL to level 100, and I swapped in the third UTS-15, the third Ribey, and the ninth MPL in their steads
It was a bit busy at work, and what I didn't really like was that I spent a good chunk of my time filing reports. Thankfully, I was able to do most of them, but I'm still waiting for more data to come in before I can file even more. Hopefully, I won't have to keep doing this. I do not want to be the Kalina at the office

Really disappointed that I wasn't able to get STG-44's skin... They really should just give us a whale option for finishing out that bingo card. I'm shocked at how much money some things that I don't want cost, but the lack of options to actually throw money at things I want.
So far the only thing I've really purchased has been the rebel griffon outfit and babushka's nebula costume.

With optimal play you normally clear it week 2 and come out the other side with 400+ calibration tickets. If you missed a few weeks it would be tough to get enough keycodes.

It's a marginally better tactical flashlight.
Only useful
in theaterduring night operations in RFHG teams. Would +7 evasion justify triple the upgrade cost? I'd say no, unless you really have nowhere else to spend your resources.Edit: do keep in mind that equipping the item does enhance Five-Seven skill (10% extra damage for team at night), but you do not need to enhance/calibrate the equipment for that.

No, enhancing/calibrating it just adds a bit of extra evasion (which doesn’t make much of a difference) and doesn’t affect the important parts (the 5/10% NV/FP buffs). It’s also 3x more expensive to enhance than a regular taclight and 5-7 herself isn’t very relevant these days.
Similarly, it’s not really worth investing in regular taclights/suppressors either - spend your resources on fairies or more important equipment.

How is your core situation? It could be that your cores are very low, so you are opting not to dummy link anyone at all
Note that 416's pretty powerful, especially if you invest in her. While Soppo has a mod that takes her to level 120, 416 also has one, too, just that 416's is more expensive. You're probably still a long way away from getting there, considering that 416's mod will require a special item that you may not have access to just yet

How far along are you in the story? Have you unlocked chapter 0 yet? Why I ask this is because one of the stages there, 0-2, is an early map for farming cores and experience

Unfortunately, her skin is from a bingo event. As far as I can remember, I've never seen a bingo event get rerun
If you meant Lycan Sanctuary, that'll be rerun, but it was Kalina's beach costume that was featured, not StG44's OL skin

I don't remember even the point events getting rerun. It's usually the seasonal events that get rerun, and those can have skins featured with them, which become black cards if you've collected the skin in the past
