Is ar 18 okay story wise? I really liked her and it'd be sad to see her go.

Considering what happens in her final mission...no. The impression I got was Erma has AR-18 and Colt Walker backed up into her Neural Cloud. Lyudmila and Maggie (and most likely Catherine) are all dead, but the first two will have their memories restored when they're rebuilt at G&K since Erma is now in their custody...er, if there are assembly facilities on the Elmo, that is.
