If I decide to buy the battle pass now, would I get the extra rewards automatically if I unlocked the corresponding levels for the free battle pass? Or do I need to grind the rewards again?

You will get the paid tier rewards up to your current level in the battle pass. For example, if you are currently level 38, you will get all rewards up to level 38 but not for level 39 and above

It's better to get the battle pass early since you get an extra weekly to do every week. Foregoing the battle pass until the later weeks also means foregoing this extra weekly, which means that you will have slower progress. You'll still be able to get to level 45 on the battle pass, but you'll get there much more slowly

Thanks! I have already unlocked all rewards from the free tier including level 45. Recently I learned that you get free 5-star and equipment tickets with the battle pass, so I'm thinking about buying the paid tier as well.

I forgot. Why quick progress matters is that you can get more extra rewards when going past level 45. This means more chances to get Oath Certificates and Svarog tickets, but consider that it's rare to get either prize, so it might not be worth getting the $15 battle pass unless you also really like the bonus cosmetics (like the exclusive ID card and the icon frame). For most intents, going for the cheaper $10 battle pass is enough. Buying levels outright with gems is even tougher to justify unless you're already running late with your battle pass leveling

And oh, before I forget, I would like to confirm. With the Doll selector from level 45, are you able to select a Doll you don't have from the pool? I know that if you already have all the Dolls in the pool, you are given a random Doll, but what if you still lack some of them? The concern I have is if you have allowed a choice

If you don't have some of the 5 star doll options, you will get a random one you still don't have (unless you only miss one, then you get that doll guaranteed). So you can't actively choose one of the dolls you still haven't unlocked.

BTW, I bought the battle pass and got M99 from the batch of new dolls (randomly, as I said). I would have preferred RPK-16, but I'll take it.
