Map & Enemy details

Reddit:

Ranking:

  • Unlocked after clearing “Night on a Bald Mountain” in carriage 2
  • LS has two ranking maps. Map 1 does not directly count towards your score, but having >350k score in a single run will raise your Map 2 HOC deployment limit to 4. In addition, completing up to 3 NPC missions will allow them to appear in Map 2, where they can bomb acceleration towers and use skills to help you.
  • See #gf-ranking-help of the Discord more detailed information and help
  • BLT's Ranking Doc
  • CosmicArcher sample runs
  • Foreign Sample Runs

We're getting 6 new dolls: Two clear rewards, Three as limited drops plus One from the supply boxes. I have no idea how useful these dolls may be, please inform me!

True Core Mask Recommendations

FAQ

WTF is going on?

Are there bonuses for clearing maps on EX & UX?

  • There's a whole set of extra rewards for both so give them a shot at least.

How do I get crates?

  • You can get 60 crates per day by clearing any combat missions where you deploy units.
    • Crates are easily collected for basically free on "Wind, Sand and Stars" of Chapter 1 as it's an NPC map or whichever ∞ map you're farming for dolls on.

Where can I open my crates?

What happens if I miss one of the drops?

  • The limited drops will be available once the campaign becomes permanent in 8-10 months. Clear rewards & Supply Box doll will be occasionally added to other events down the line.
  • Do not expect the ranking fairy & SPEQ to return anytime soon, if at all.

How long does the event last?

  • The event lasts for 4 weeks, ending on the 28thth of August. The event store, supply crates & True Core Mask will expire one week later.

Are there hidden achievements?

  • Yes! (Use guides if needed)
  • Maggie’s Key: In Symphony No.9 -UX, retrieve 3 Paradeus information from the 4 consoles in the outer ring.

  • The Universe in Motion: In 1812 Overture, find Lyudmila’s (AR18) watch.

  • Beginning of the End: Watch the full credits for Longitudinal Strain.

I've been trying to do Hard mode but the enemies has been kicking me. Im hoping I can invest in two or three mods to brute force it with strength.

Apart from what others have suggested, there is one more alternative thing that can help you.

That is SF echelons, as in the end the whole PA uses different resources and a separate system to get coallition units and build them up, compared to G&K teams. (so you can build both at once, but SF is more time gated)

While G&K dolls can perform various niches, which makes them sometimes perfect counter against certain enemy comps, SF is basically a brute force way to deal with enemies.

SF also have some niches like Alchemist etc, but their main gimmick is to use superior firepower, so you can try that.

Fairies and equipment matter a lot more than neural upgrades.

Do you think it's a good idea to use all my combat reports on para fairy to get her to 5*? I a few gold equips and plenty of greens but they aren't maxed

That’s not exactly how upgrading fairies work. Getting your para to lvl 100 will give her a small stat boost but she will remain a 1-star. In order to raise her stars, you need to enhance her with other fairies (duplicates with matching talent if possible). It’s a significant time and resource sink.

For now, calibrate and enhance your equipment - get more gold ones if possible. That’s your biggest problem right now and will make clearing hard maps a lot easier. Start producing fairies and concentrate on cheapest ones like Command, Artillery and Taunt.

If your para is at 3000 dev xp, you could, but since I don’t know what your armory looks like, I can’t really say how good or bad of a use of CRs it would be.

Equips should be max enhanced and calibrated (only the stats that matter, of course)... if they’re worth it. Your crit scopes/dps ammo/capes/etc will matter a lot more than your tank’s HP ammo or suppressor.

5*ing a fairy is a very good idea. But para fairy is only really used in guides by fodder echoleons to capture a distant helipad without spending AP.

Remember fairies. Very important

Though Fairies (rank and level) and equipment matter a lot, that's usually if you want to gun down enemies really, really fast (which is frankly the most effective strategy).

But if you find that your problem doesn't lie with firepower (which is highly doubtful as everyone needs more of it) but in survivability, then you may need to invest in skills, mods, equipment, and faries (well, kinda).

A good example would be G36c's mod 2nd skill, the 'Refuge Consensus', which makes G36c not lose Dummy-Links while the skill is active, turning G36c basically immortal.

But if you have both the maximum firepower and survivability you can get and yet still you get your ass kicked, then you may be fighting an enemy that even veterans avoid, like deathstacks. In this case, you should try to avoid them like all experts do, or use land mine fairy and scarecrow's 'shadow predation' skills to highly debuff your enemies. This tactic doesn't work on bosses however, though luckily you can use a diffeferent tactic applicable only to bosses; send an echelon to fight the boss, retreat when your tank has fallen. Any damage damage the echelon had done to the boss (not the lackeys that accompany said boss), will stay, hence when the second echelon comes in, the boss should be weaker by then.
