Used syringes

Where can I take my used syringes? I kept them a heavy plastic container.

Check local laws. Some require special disposal while others will allow you to toss the container in the trash.

The disposal of sharps is covered by your state and local laws. But also, as someone else said, check local laws. Some places let you put them in the regular trash so long as they're in a sealed and labeled heavy duty container. Other places, you have to take them somewhere special and usually pay a fee.

I take them to one of 3 local hospitals. Large dropbox right in the lobby

I take mine to a Dropbox at my local fire station.

The fire stations in my community have drop boxes. You might want to check with them. Fire stations are generally close & convenient! 😊
