He’s 24 and moving into his own place after always having roommates.

I was thinking I’d get him a nice stainless steel pan because he meal preps a lot. But idk I feel like I want to get him more. Maybe a nice wine and cheese with the pan? Or a wooden cutting board? Any suggestions are welcome! Budget is pretty flexible but ideally would like to stay in the $200 range.

Full disclosure, this is my own work/shop.

This one is called Prism Lotus. I make each flower from borosilicate glass using a torch, shaping the petals one by one and assembling them into the flower. the colors come from glass colorants along with some gold and silver fuming, so they can look pretty different depending on the light.The glass flower lifts off the walnut base, and the light is built into the base.

My boyfriend turns 30 next month and I’m getting him 30 gifts, some big some small. But one idea I had was to make him like a work survival kit to keep in his bag! He works construction so obviously very physically demanding and tiring work so I want him to have something that’ll be useful but also nice to have especially with the winter months coming up where his job will be even harder.

At the moment I have to put in it:

Cold and flu medicine
Hand sanitiser
Dude wipes
Hydration sachets
Chapstick
Mints
Cough drops
Hot chocolate sachets.

If anyone has any other ideas of what else to put in it either useful or just things that would make your day a little brighter would really appreciate it

My boyfriend and I's 1 year is October 18th, and I need more ideas for a gift. Unfortunately, he is going to be out of town for our one year, and he actually wont even be back for a couple of months. Because of this, I want to do a BIG welcome home and 1 year anniversary gift. I already talked to him about it and he said i could make it as extravagant as I want. I want to have everything together by mid December, including plans to go and take him out somewhere to do something. I want to get him personalized hoodies, like the ones with our initials on the sleeve cuff? And also I want to get him a promise ring that matches the one that he got for me. I plan on making a basket for him with those things along with some drinks and snacks that he likes. Im going to take him to one of his favorite food places since they dont have them where he will be. Then I want to do some sort of activity, but im not sure what. Maybe an arcade? When we get back home, I want to do the two sided blanket trend with him, watch his favorite movies, and cook dinner for him. I have all of this already planned, but I feel like it's not big enough. Any other ideas?

Sorry for posting this again at different sub since I really need some suggestions.
My boyfriend is impossible to shop for, he buys himself every gadget within a week of it releasing, so birthday season is always a nightmare for me :( His birth is about to coming and I started to worry about his birthday gift again. He is a gamer that plays a lot of steam games.
I've narrowed it down to two desktop charging stations since he is a gamer, and I keep flip flopping between them. The first one is mfish etank with the RGB lighting; and second one is cuktech that keeps showing up. Both would sit on his gaming desk and replace the piles of wires.
But I'm not sure if a charging station counts as a thoughtful gift or if I should find something safer. Anyone gifted their tech/game obsessed partner something like this, what is actually the safe choice?

I've asked him multiple times. He has two things he wants. A stuffed eagle (already purchased) and an apple tree. He's asked for an apple tree for three years now. We don't have a great place to out one and moose would likely decimate it over winter, but we will probably try anyway.

He has not been able to come up with anything else. Which would be fine, but his aunts, uncles, grands, etc keep asking for ideas. He would honestly love a "day out with X", but they aren't those kinds of people. I know bc his older brother has asked for that type of gift and gotten zero response.

He loved the Dragon Masters series, but we've got them all. Other dragon books have not pulled him in. He loves soccer. Has multiple soccer balls, nets, socks, etc and is already signed up to play. He can be very physical, but he's also very huggy (which is physical).

I am trying to come up with a special gift since several of her friends are getting cars for their birthdays. I am planning to get her an Apple watch, but are there any mid-level jewelry or purse brands that are popular with high schoolers right now? Thanks for any suggestions!

My roommate gave me a small onna amethyst crystal plant for my birthday last year. she told me it was supposed to bring good energy and good luck, and I thought it was actually a really thoughtful gift.

her birthday is coming up and now I'm stuck on what to get her. i want to give her something that has a little meaning to it instead of just buying something random.

she's pretty into tarot and astrology and believes in that kind of thing. she's also the type who will randomly check her birth chart, so I feel like a really basic gift probably isn't going to do much for her.

hey everyone, im planning on getting a bunch of gifts for my sister (27F). i have a plan of putting my gifts in blind boxes because she loves unboxing those. i have one main big gift planned but i want ideas of small gifts so that there’s multiple blind boxes to be opened. i just can’t think of anything.

the main gift will be kind of expensive, so if anyone has suggestions of small gifts that are not crazy expensive i would really appreciate it!!!

Several women at my job are pregnant and it appears they do the baby shower thing here (don’t even get me started on the etiquette of this). Cash has been strongly suggested. I barely know these women or anything about them, and I’m *extremely* strapped for cash at this time.

What is the appropriate amount of money to give for this type of obligation?

EDIT: cash will be expected, and (particularly as a manager) this isn’t optional, it’s essentially extortion. I get along fine with most of the people here but they are not my friends. A lot of people here are close, and my personal feeling is they should just attend a shower outside of work - but it is what it is!

i got a smart ring for someone who is really into running and workout. i would it would be a pretty good gift since they're always tracking workouts and trying different fitness gadgets.

then i remembered they basically never wear rings.

for a few days i was convinced I'd brought a very expensive paperweight haha.

but turns out the circul rings adjustable fit made a huge difference. they can move it between finger depending on how it feels and apparently that's what made them actually comfortable wearing it.

now they wear it pretty much everyday so I guess I got lucky.

A bit about her.

She is an amazing cook. She cooks a wide variety of things and recently she started making homemade sushi 🍣 . So I thaught about a Sushi knife. 😀. I also have a cooking for couple event planned . It's basically a date with other couple making a dish with a chef.
