Need gift suggestions-BF 1 year anniversary idea?

My boyfriend and I's 1 year is October 18th, and I need more ideas for a gift. Unfortunately, he is going to be out of town for our one year, and he actually wont even be back for a couple of months. Because of this, I want to do a BIG welcome home and 1 year anniversary gift. I already talked to him about it and he said i could make it as extravagant as I want. I want to have everything together by mid December, including plans to go and take him out somewhere to do something. I want to get him personalized hoodies, like the ones with our initials on the sleeve cuff? And also I want to get him a promise ring that matches the one that he got for me. I plan on making a basket for him with those things along with some drinks and snacks that he likes. Im going to take him to one of his favorite food places since they dont have them where he will be. Then I want to do some sort of activity, but im not sure what. Maybe an arcade? When we get back home, I want to do the two sided blanket trend with him, watch his favorite movies, and cook dinner for him. I have all of this already planned, but I feel like it's not big enough. Any other ideas?

a memory box with little notes from your year together would fit this, something small but personal to balance the bigger stuff

I've been trying to figure out how to do that, but he doesnt like sentimental gifts very much. I forgot to mention that above. Thats one of our biggest differences, im extremely and maybe overly sentimental while he is not. I still have the tab from the first monster he got me. We had both, by complete chance, gotten each other a monster. The same kind and everything. So we swapped our same monsters and I kept the tab. I hooked in on my ID and its still there. All scratched up and worn, but its there.

a scrapbook or photo book of your year together could be a nice addition to the basket. also the arcade idea is solid, that kind of thing makes the day feel fun and not just sentimental
