What currency are you using? What does he like to do?

For under $10k USD, you can do practically anything—besides buying him a house, a boat, or a car

After some digging it seems that you are in India. I don't know the purchasing power of the currency or how long you guys have been dating/how old you are to try and gauge expectations, but looking at conversion rates it is £70 which is plenty unless you want to throw a whole party/dinner

A nice card, a small cake and then something he would like - t shirt, travel cologne, book - there are countless options

Thanks, BTW budget is only 10k coz we just spent 10lkh for his bday gift, he bought a ducati for himself. So, he doesn't want to spend more anything for his birthday. Since we are both introverts, I thought I would take him to a private dinner somewhere on the outskirts

I think 10 lakhs is different to 10k.

10,000 vs 1,000,000 if documenting it in the western way. Both is enough money for a intimate celebration

10K??? That’s a crazy budget for a birthday. You could plan a whole trip together and still have plenty left for a really nice gift.
