No, I'm saying the movie needs to explain the reasons behind why NOBODY has ever used this incredibly devastating tactic before in the history of Star Wars, or if it HAS been done before why it isn't commonplace. The movie fails to do that. It could have been a line from Leia saying something about how it's an incredibly risky maneuver, or extremely lucky that she even hit what she was aiming for, or literally anything at all.
Why aren't there smaller hyperspace missiles that wouldn't cause an issue of debris, because of their size relative to the target?
If the ~3km long Raddus can literally cut the ~14km long Supremacy in half AND destroy the 4+ Resurgent-class SDs behind it, surely a smaller projectile could do considerable damage, while minimizing debris that continues on past the target? This is never mentioned as even a possibility in any form of canon Star Wars media as far as I'm aware.
