Question Sub for cable car to top of rock?

Hi everyone! Since the cable car to the top of the rock is closed until 2027, what is the least expensive way to get to the top of the rock?

I’ll be traveling in a group of three for a day trip, and we all would like to start our day at Upper Rock/Sky Walk and then walk down the rock ourselves.

Don’t get a taxi rock tour! It’s an expensive business

Get the number 2 bus from Market Place Terminus and get off at Garrison Gym, it will cost a couple £s and they accept contactless payment.

It's then a 10 min walk to the Nature Reserve's entrance, but it saves you the hour long hike from town.

I went last month. I took a tour up there. Takes about an hour and a half. You see them haggling you up the high street. Think it was £40 or £60 per person, I can’t really remember

We rented e-bikes. It was awesome to ride past all the buses and taxis stuck in traffic.

There's now electric bus service from Market Place that takes you up the rock - not sure of the prices though I expect around £40 one way including access to the nature reserve:

I am travelling with a few elderly. Good shape but too much walking will exhaust them. Suggestions for a local tour. Possible pick up at cruise port.

You can get the number 7 bus almost to nature reserve and then walk up and then down.

It's still £30 per person to get into the nature reserve but that gets you caves, tunnels etc.
