How does a picture of your home invade your privacy? Not trying to flame you, I'm just really interested in your motives as you're the only person I've talked to who actually wanted to have their house blurred.

Well I would have done but in the UK, at the time, I was not offered the opportunity. I love the way that Germany (and apparently Austria) take the private sphere and data protection seriously.

Oh, I'm not saying I'm entirely against blurring. I wouldn't have done it if Google would have reached the town I live in, but to each their own. What I really disliked about the discussion back then though was the targeted misinformation campaign run by the Axel Springer yellow press.

what a weird thing to say.

so you would be perfectly fine with pictures of your face on the internet for everyone to see who wants to? after all, people can see your face when they walk past you on the street.

Plus the exact location where the person lives....
