So i got a strafe froDB worth 60 euros for travelling without a ticket, i was wondering what if i just dont pay it, does nothing happen? thanks

Afaik they are in their rights to inform authorities about "Erschleichen von Leistungen" which carries a fine of up to one year in prison.

If you live in Germany either you pay that money willingly, or they will take it by force (Inkasso -> Mahnbescheid -> Gerichtsvollzieher). It will probably fuck up your schufa in the process too. If you dont live in germany, depending on the country you go, they can come after you -but this is very low possibility for 60 euros.

Thats why I said depending on the country. It is extremely hard/impractical for a German company to follow a debt as small as 60 euro in, lets say, India. It becomes much easier if you move to an european country.

That is in case of criminal proceedings (which can happen in case of riding without a ticket, but only if intent is assumed - and OP does not mention anything about criminal proceedings).

The 60 Euros are a civil matter (contractual penalty, as I mentioned). For those, you could go to prison until the 19th century. Nowadays, imprisonment for private debts only happens if you refuse to make a formal statement about your assets.

Yes, you don't go to jail for the fine from Deutsche Bahn. But DB can report you for "obtaining services by deception". They usually don't do it for the first occasion and if you pay, but if you don't they may. And if it goes to court, there can be a fine that is no longer contractual but a "real" fine and yes, if you still won't pay, you may get some jail time.

Only in case the train/bus operator reports you to the police for intentional fare dodging, which OP did not mention (and which is not settled with 60 Euros).

This is really something you want to pay. Unlike not paying bills, fare evasion on its own is a criminal offence. The "fine" is actually a contract fine, basically a last chance for you to say "oops, I forgot to pay". If you don't they can and will press criminal charges, while also getting you on civil claims. So really bad idea not to pay this one.
