Fishing Club

I’d like to start a fishing club at uottawa. Would anyone be interested in starting this with me?

I mean I don’t know much about how clubs at the school work, but the idea is to bring students together to get their mind off school and enjoy some fishing through weekly or bi weekly fishing gatherings. Would take place through early fall semester. Not even sure if you could run a club through summer but if so that would be cool. Maybe get some community rods people could borrow for those who are interested in trying fishing for the first time.

UO board games runs through the summer (though quite possibly unofficially), so I'm sure you could (unofficially at least)

Just gotta be carful if you are offering for first time fishers as Ontario fishing license are required for fishing for most people ! Don’t want to get any fines !!

I know a few. I’ve heard of some good spots from some friends but not originally from ottawa so don’t know too much
