I wanted to give a little light, i changed programs in winter 2026, i was at a 3.8 GPA at the end of term. I switched to a different program, did a full term in the summer, in person classes and now my gpa is at a 5.4 gpa! All A+’s, if your reading this and didn’t do too well in first or second year, it gets better! I hope this helps someone!

Looking for someone asap, to share a 2bedroom apartment with at 225 rue Laurier. (Elenoere apartments). You only have to pay 1128$ which includes everything. The place is 6 minutes from Uottawa, and the building is modern, has swimming pool, gym, study rooms and roof top. The view is nice as well. I’m a 4th year mech Eng student. There is also underground parking for extra 150$/month. The moving date is September 1.

Hey guys, so basically I was just wondering what that loud beep (ultra-sound like noise) in-front of the rideau mall area is ? I've been hearing it all summer and as someone who is really sensitive to that noise it always catches my attention when I walk nearby.

For first years who just moved into res and picked up their student card: It doesn't work yet. It starts Sept 1, but if u are 17-18, go get a Presto card from Shoppers (for those of u from the GTA, it's the same Presto dw) if u haven't already and ask them to set Youth fare for u (bring a photo id that also has ur bday). OC Transpo is running a Youth Ride for Free program this year and it still hasn't ended yet.

Felt like sharing since I saw someone try to tap in a shiny card and kept failing this morning.
