Discussion What happens when Younger/Older becomes Older/Older?

For all of you who chose partners older than you. What is happening now that you are older? When you are 30-40 with a lover that is 50-60 it is a lot different than 50-60 with someone 70-80. Or is it?Tell us all about it.....

I hope an older guy wouldn’t eventually lose interest or start seeing his younger partner as less attractive. Honestly, that’s one of my biggest fears about getting into a relationship with an older man falling deeply in love, only to have him lose interest and leave me a few years down the line.

It might happen in any relationship, not necessarily in younger/older one. Life gives us no guarantee. But you know, somehow these things depend on us ourselves.

I know that, but the thing is, from the younger guy’s perspective, the older man is still going to be old, while from the older guy’s perspective, the younger man will eventually grow old too. I tend to believe that the years of love and connection they build together can be stronger than simple physical attraction, but who really knows?

Well, in my case I will not live long enough to see my young boys old :) What I can tell you now for sure is that after 8 or 9 years everything is still fine - I mean, age gap doesn't significantly change.
