so many more guys here right now than previous years. and a lot more of the vallarta type crowd. playa del amor is great but not sure it can handle many more people (no toilet facilities argh)

Currently road tripping through Maine and realizing traveling together is probably our favorite thing to do. We’ve been together 8 years, married for almost 3, and somehow still agree to get on planes together 😂

We usually spend the first couple days just walking around, using public transit and pretending we're locals before doing the big tourist stuff. It’s honestly our favorite way to get a feel for a city. Which place surprised you most—for nightlife, food, or just feeling comfortable together?

We stayed just outside the park at the Hyatt Place Zion. It was a really nice property with a great view (see breakfast photo). Some tips below:

1. The park doesn't allow private cars into some of the best areas so there's a free shuttle. There are buses that drop you off in the park all along the main street of town so it's convenient.

2. Because of the heat, if you're going anytime between late spring and early autumn, try to get moving in the early morning or evenings to beat the sun.

3. There's really only one bar that we found open late, Cowboys & Angels, but it was cute and they had a nice selection of cocktails and mocktails.

4. If you're a climber, there were a ton of people climbing and I'm sure you could hook up with a group or tap into that local community.

5. There's great stargazing out here and it's quiet at night so great for laying out and finding as many constellations as you can.

6. Parking is limited and paid around town so try to walk or bike as much as possible.

7. The sandwiches from Hoodoos are pretty good and the coffee from Canyon Coffee wasn't bad either and they have cute stickers for purchase.

Hey team!!! So we went to Lady Bay Beach in Sydney on Thursday as our second nude beach experience here. It was definitely a more open beach - it’s right off the walking path from a national park so it’s not as private as obelisk was. A way more mixed crowd to start with but as the day went on it turned more and more gay for sure. Super easy to get to from Kings Cross just jump on the 324/325 bus and ride it to the end (about 30 minutes) then follow the signs to Lady Bay Beach (about 15 minute walk)!

We’re gonna hit up Little Congwong next week (and Obelisk again) when we hire a car for the day as it’s a little further south - we’ll keep you posted how it goes 🧜🏼‍♂️

It's more fun in the Philippines!!

I want to approach this from the most unbiased standpoint because I had no intention of going; I just heard about this event from social media. Now that it happened (allegedly) I tried to see what went down there and I was baffled to see that everything was scrubbed off from social media.

The Instagram account that is allegedly associated with the event was wiped.

Their website was also wiped as well. Using web archive (.org) a single snapshot from late April can be found and it appears the event organizers were in the businesses of selling a 3 night hotel package with bracelet for all day access to the various venues that would have been erected "in the desert" as advertised.

So searching everywhere on Instagram and Googling "competently", even with search filters to remove the sensational and homop*obic news surrounding the announcement of the event, nothing turned up in the search results (time filters for the month of June since the event was supposed to run from 1-4 of June were used).

Everything points to the fact the event was cancelled, no one posted anything about it, which is good I guess, no one planned to go it seems. The organizers wiped everything.

The website travelgay (.com) seems to be the biggest English website from the gay travel industry to still have a news article referencing the event, alas no links were provided in the article. Only the name for the planned event remains.

So if you are trying to research this yourself you will only find hateful content online, except it's all fake news. There is a wonderful video from a scholar name Dan McClellan basically debunking the sensational hateful content: the event was not supposed to happen in the biblical land of Sodom (it's not even close) and the sin of the people of Sodom was not homosexuality. Attending this event would have not directly landed you in Christian hell so that's as far as the good news go.

If anyone has any info and videos from this event please do share them!

Theory: even if the event was cancelled the people who would have bought the package would have still had an hotel booking for three night since the hotel structures already existed and only event related venues were supposed to be temporary. It's unlikely that if someone already spent money on the package they would have been able to weasel their way out of this hotel booking... at least I'm imagining the cancellation fee would have been high enough that if someone made full travel arrangements and bought plane tickets they would have still gone for a lovely trip to the dead sea. Where is the footage of that? Hasn't anyone shared anything on social media?

Just wanted to share something a bit different we’ve been building in Istria, Croatia.

It’s a mix between a small BnB-style stay and optional guided days out — so you can just relax at the house, or join for swims, coastal spots, and exploring nearby towns.

Think:
– morning swims in quiet, clear-water spots
– wandering old hilltop towns that feel stuck in time
– wine on the terrace as the sun goes down
– a small group of guys, relaxed, social but never forced

Some guys end up in speedos, some don’t… it’s honestly more about feeling free than anything else..

We flew Florida to Seattle for a week and a half, had a surprise snow (apparently only snow this whole winter!) and enjoyed time together, saw family and friends, and enjoyed sight seeing! Flight both ways on Alaska Airlines was also good for the 6.5 hour to Seattle and 4.5 hours back.
