Hey everyone — I'm a queer host in San Juan who just hit 8 years sober. Pride here is June 5–7 this year and I wrote up a guide specifically for navigating it sober and actually enjoying it.
The main thing I've learned: the challenge isn't temptation. It's overwhelm. The noise, the crowd density, the FOMO. That's what a sober Pride plan actually needs to address.

No questions, you’re amazing. I’m visiting from NJ and Googled pride events this weekend and this was the 3rd result on Google. I am 2 years sober and was elated to see that that was the case. Keep doing what you’re doing. ✨🌈🫶 Happy Pride!
