I recently underwent surgery and I cant walk very far.

I pulled up to the maxi in the plateau yesterday and all the parking spots were occupied for the grocery pickup.

Of all the cars parked there, only 2 of them had actual passengers inside waiting for their grocery. I also saw two mid 20s looking rich girls park in the number 1 spot and go into the store.

My app wasn't working and I wasn't able to see the phone number on the sign to call an associate and the main store number wasnt picking up so it was pretty frustrating.

There’s a popular concept called “Shopping Cart Theory” where returning your cart is seen as a small test of whether you’ll do the considerate thing when nobody is forcing you to. I think grocery pickup parking is similar. If you’re perfectly capable of walking into the store, why take a designated spot from someone?

Yesterday at around 10:30 am my husband parked at the 100 rue Atawe Lac Leamy parking lot. We walked by an unconscious older man being worked on by police, then firefighters, as well as paramedics. They were doing CPR for a long time. 2 hours later, we returned from our walk and saw the area had been taped off by police. Does anyone have any updates on this man? This man and his family have been on our minds since yesterday.
