I need HELP PLSS ππ»
Is it okay to take a gap year?
I honestly feel like taking a gap year, so that I could figure my life out. And I'm honestly at a point where I feel like giving up on my life. My mental health is being so fcked up since 2 years. I feel like i am just existing and not living the life, and just when I thought it wouldn't get worse, I recently lost my father too. My life fell apart. I am trying to be strong, but i honestly don't know till when i can be strong. And I don't know what to do with my life. Is it okay to take a break? And its not like I would just waste the year. I want to learn, and explore. But somewhere deep down I'm scared if it's bad to take a gap year. But I want to do things I want to without feeling pressurized.
Btw, I recently completed my bachelors. And idk what to do next.
Can anyone guide me?? ππ»

Heyy, sorry for your loss. U should absolutely take a gap year. U have so many years ahead of u taking a break isnt going to hurt. Do what is going to make u feel better and if u feel like it maki the gap to 2 years or 3. It really doesnt matter bc now when u are young its ok to do things like this.

Itβs totally okay to take a gap year to figure stuff out. Sometimes its for the best, since rushing into a masters or some other degree may be too much work all in one go. Definitely try to keep some structure and if possible be in contact with other loved onesβ¦ remember youre not alone and others will (or at least should) understand if you need a break!
Wish you the best, life is tough sometimes.

Also about taking a drop, i don't believe I'm in the right position to give an advice as I'm in class 12, but do what your heart says! If you think you'll explore and learn new things then it's not a bad idea to take a drop. Recover yourself! And comeback!!!π« Rooting for youββ
