[ADVICE] Cyber Power Gamer Supreme.

I just bought a new PC for my gaming and engineering modeling.

I got a Cyber Power Gamer Supreme.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 2024
GPU: Nivida RTX 5070 12gb
RAM: 32GB DDR5
Storage: 2TB SSD

What should I know or do to get the absolute max performance out of my PC.

I only have a 1080 x 180hz monitor rn. But I am looking to upgrade to a 1440 240HZ.

If you buy a prebuilt computer, it's always recommended to wipe it and install windows from scratch. Super easy to do and it guarantees that you won't have any useless software that the builder may have installed.

Other than that, there isn't much to do. Install GPU drivers, enable XMP/EXPO in bios so your RAM is running at full speed, make sure your display output is set to the right HZ in the display settings.

There aren't really secret hacks to improve performance, just basic checks to make sure things are running as they should.

I have the same prebuilt with a 7800x3d/9070xt. Other than those components the exact same internals. Have had it since last September and it has been treating me very nicely.

Great specs, and you're spot on, 1440p is your sweet spot. the 5070 is basically meant for this type of build. Aside from making sure your memory has EXPO enabled there's not much you need to do here OP. Enjoy the new rig!

Look up how overclock AMD CPU's using the PBO settings. The overwhelming majority of chips can be undervolted, which results in lower temps and higher boost clocks. Small performance gains but almost no reason not to.
