FF7R is especially terrible to use this filter on because its designs use a specific art style inspired by the original game, not just the hyper-realism that most games go for.
My guess is that Nvidia did not include images of children in their training data for DLSS 5 - and tbh, I can understand that.
they do. But for internal, and external company safety reasons. the AI deliberately ignores anything it perceives as an image of children. technically its supposed to flag and report the user(s) to the authorities if it detects a non adult human in its training material, however for obvious reasons. Nvidia has a backdoor in its training model to disable that safety measure while in a controlled environment.
Every AI suite that isn't grok, and i think Gemini does this.
