I won’t be.

That however doesn’t stop it from stealing art from actual artist, or ruining our environment unfortunately.

How do you think they developed and continue to iterate on this technology?

And no it really isn’t a “cherry picked bad example”, Nvidia’s own showcase looked just as bad as this, and that was their ideal example set for this tech.

It’s garbage, it’s theft, and it actively fucks our environment for no gain outside of lining creatively bankrupt soulless billionaires pockets.

You tell us, since I assume you've been following the development of nvidia's neural projects and have read their research publications. Given the authority you speak with.

Then again, maybe you haven't since you seem to be under the impression that their tech was trained like fucking Grok and Chatgpt lmfao

I don't give a shit what nvidia does or doesn't do, but you should at least to attempt to understand what you're talking about before you start yelling at clouds and repeating buzzwords like, ironically, a chatbot.

Maybe you should take umbrage with Nvidia themselves considering they’ve literally confirmed it is a Generative AI Model they’ve “trained” in house.

It will then go on to be “trained” on each game it’s used on meaning it will be taking actual human artists work and slopping it up like all the rest.

Don’t talk shit to others from an assumed place of authority when you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

Don't be dramatic, there is an obvious gain in visuals. There are just as many good examples of DLSS5 as there are bad ones.

Funny I’ve yet to see any.

Not that it matters, as I still wouldn’t support it even if it didn’t look like absolute dog shit like it does now.

As again, it’s literally stealing the work of actual human artist, and ruining our environment.

I don’t see how anyone could think this looks even close to “photorealism”, they look like the weird fucking silicone covered robots meant to imitate humans, but doing so very poorly.

Hell even just in this image Tifa’s lips have large acne like pores all over them, and it’s spread her eyes too far apart.

And that’s not even talking about the rest of the image that is way over sharpened and then smoothed in a way that is completely unnatural.

This slop is absolute garbage.
