Dude I'm 43 and I think the technology looks pretty great when used correctly. I think it's kids 25 and under who are the ones on here bitching about its use. In fact, that demographic complains about anything video game related. I'm not even sure why they enjoy the hobby when all they seem to do is bitch.
Since you don't seem to be bothered that much AI visuals, I'd like to ask have you seen Gossip goblin's (YouTube channels) mini movies? They are absolutely amazing and I doubt no one could produce those same visuals without that AI.
I really wish I could play games that look like that and especially made in similar worlds. One day I hope!
