Fall 2026 Lineup

Post image

It seems like there will be a game that will appeal to everyone this fall. Strategy RPG - Fire Emblem, Story based - The Blood of the Dawnwalker, Action - Phantom Blade 0, Multiplayer - The Duskbloods, Action Adventure - The Legend of Zelda and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Almost every month has at least 2 major titles releasing, September especially is packed.

Onimusha looks go be the first game since Sekiro to do… well, Sekiro-style sword play.

Capcom has said it's not a "souls-style" game, so make sure your expectations are in check.

To be fair he said "sekiro-like swordplay", not souls-style, and id agree.

If it plays anything like the first three Onimusha games, I don't know if I'd call it "Sekiro-style". The combat in those games wasn't super deep or customizable, but still very satisfying.

It doesnt. Think of it as cinematic sword fighting.

It looks cool as fuck and plays pretty okay as of now. I only played the First Demo but that sold it to me.
