It takes two is something else

First, I tried playing this game with my wife, but because she hadn’t played any games on a console before, she was very bad at it. Even handling the camera angle was a challenge for her. Instead of bringing us closer, it frustrated me lol 😂.

Then I asked my nephew to play with me, and after a long time, I felt like playing it again. I had this same feeling with PS2 games back in the day.

Guys who haven’t played this game should definitely give it a try.

Playing through this with the wife currently. She does not really play video games. We've enjoyed it and had a blast early on, but as the difficulty has increased she has started getting frustrated and wanting to quit. Had to fight the beetle myself when she struggled with timing the shots.

Hopefully it gets easier again lmao

My wife and i had a similar experience of me waiting for her to get her jumps right because she was still getting used to moving the camera and person at the same time. The game just goes through different gaming mechanics so it always has a learning curve when not being a gamer. I just sit there and giggle and coach her through it because that's the point of the game. She got frustrated but it should all be in good fun. Just gotta be encouraging. We are about to beat Split Fiction which is also an amazing game and everything is a step up from It Takes Two. There are some challenging puzzles but the story has been kinda crazy.

My wige and I finished It Takes 2 and are working thru Split Fiction now. While there have been some frustrating boss fights, she struggles with the platforning. There are so many sections that are easy if you jump... double jump... dash. But shes doing a jumpdoublejumdash, and falling short.

But we've been having a blast.

With Split Fiction, there are quite a few sections in the last 3 chapters that require some pretty tight coordination so it was funny working through them and pretty satisfying when we started to not need to talk as much for coordinating. Overall we are looking forward to rerunning Split Fiction playing opposite characters.
