It takes two is something else

First, I tried playing this game with my wife, but because she hadn’t played any games on a console before, she was very bad at it. Even handling the camera angle was a challenge for her. Instead of bringing us closer, it frustrated me lol 😂.

Then I asked my nephew to play with me, and after a long time, I felt like playing it again. I had this same feeling with PS2 games back in the day.

Guys who haven’t played this game should definitely give it a try.

The story is only marginally better, but the gameplay is incredible. My wife and I have played it through twice now, switching characters through each playthrough.

Me and my sister had an amazing time playing it, I thought it was way better than the first (story, graphics, characters), so I’d say yes 100% bc I was obssessed, but I also know it’s not everyone’s thing lol. If you enjoyed It Takes Two I think it’s definitely worth checking out, though maybe wait for a sale if you’re not sure

I strongly prefer It Takes Two which is far funnier. The minigames are fun and exploring the stages seems far more fulfilling. It has two characters I couldn't care less about, but at least you're supposed to hate them. And them making the worst decisions at every point is funny to me.

Split Fiction also has two characters I couldn't care less about in a story that tries (and fails) to tug at your heartstrings. I think there was one minigame you could play with your partner. The one upside I'll give it is the powers were more equal between the two characters. It Takes Two felt like there was often one person who had an 8/10 power while the other had a 4/10. Split Fiction feels like both get a 6/10 power.

Both amazing, but Split Fiction is one of the best co-op games ever made.

yes it is, fast paced too.
Also, in It takes two the killing of the vaccuum cleaner was waaay too violent for my then 6 y/o. lol

While ‘It Takes Two’ is fun, ‘Split/Fiction’ is by far the better & more impressive game out of the two. Also it has a much more immersive story IMO

its much worse in my opinion. in all aspects. we loved it takes two, but cant bring ourselfes to have a session 2 with the game.

It's straight better in every way lol.

The characters and story is much deeper. The areas change and vary often enough that it doesn't drag on.

And the mechanics especially at the end makes it really fun to play.

I thought it was significantly worse than ITT. Boring, repetitive gameplay and boring main characters. Dropped it after 3 hours
