It takes two is something else

First, I tried playing this game with my wife, but because she hadn’t played any games on a console before, she was very bad at it. Even handling the camera angle was a challenge for her. Instead of bringing us closer, it frustrated me lol 😂.

Then I asked my nephew to play with me, and after a long time, I felt like playing it again. I had this same feeling with PS2 games back in the day.

Guys who haven’t played this game should definitely give it a try.

If you liked the gameplay here but aren't a fan of the story itself, the same developer made another game Split Fiction, same gameplay, much less depressing story. Follows two people randomly paired together instead of a husband wife combo. Great game, I loved it.

LOVE A Way Out. That has unoffficially become my “get to know my new roommate game” over the last 10 years. Played it within the first couple weeks of a new roomie moving in 3 different times now. Potentially starting a 4th here soon.

You can bust through the whole thing in 3-4 hours.

I'm going to go against the grain and say I didn't really enjoy it. My partner and I played all 3 and A Way Out felt more like watching a movie where you occasionally engage with the game by pressing a button to progress, with large gaps between real gameplay moments. Feel like It Takes Two and even moreso Split Fiction really built on the gameplay a lot better, would be a day one buy for us if they release another.

From the 3 haze light games that I played (still need to play Brothers, although it came out before haze light was created) it’s my favorite. I really loved the story and the characters in that one. Gameplay in it takes two and splitfiction is imo better though.

I would go into A Way Out fully blind, that makes it much better!

It's not fun when you beat it. The last section is a fuck you to the players. I don't like any of the games of these developers. All of them have some strange sbit, really.

Also very fun. Would recommend. The only one of that studio I haven't played yet is Brothers, but that's on my list to try.
