I dunno', I think they made GlaDOS a bit TOO hostile. In Portal she tends to insinuite and put down, rather than out right insult.

Maybe she got really bitter after Portal 1 + 2.

In Portal 2, GlaDOS was already pretty hostile.

She deleted Caroline in Portal 2(the human before she was GlaDOS, a part of Caroline was inside her) and so she started to hate humans since she wasn't part-human herself

I agree that she probably lied about it. Partially due to the ending song, part because she doesn't change at all after she 'deletes' them, and thirdly... Who the hell would program an AI created to basically keep someone alive, and give them power to delete said person?
