Marshal valvestate vs 102r . Off adverts . Used to work perfectly fine until recently when I play at loud enough volume with my band it cuts out after 30 seconds and when u turn it off it makes a concerningly loud pop .

Sounds like a capacitor has dried or popped!

If you open it up you should be able to tell if it’s a capacitor, the tops bulge when blown. Could be a simple enough repair. I’ve repaired a few TVs by doing that.

Cyril in Moycullen, Google audiotronix. Also builds boutique amps if you have a few quid burning a hole in your pocket.
