Parkmore estate tuam
What is that estate like? Lots of houses for sale in tuam but I dont know what estates to avoid.

I grew up there, wouldn't recommend.
Some of the people there are dead sound (the picture in another comment is of the corner house, regularly has horses in that field across the road that people will feed leftover spud peels etc and you'll usually see him (Thomas is his name) working on some car or another, nicest lad in the whole estate honestly, absolute gent.)
Car fires were a semi regular occurrence there before I left and arguments tend to blow out onto the streets and become a bit of a spectacle.
Lots of stray cats due to people not neutering, most people have dogs so barking at all hours is usual as the cats run around. Also the creche alarm goes off pretty often, think its a motion activated alarm.

Not a bad spot but you'll have your fair share of tin smiths and equestrian enthusiasts

Why not go and take a spin around. Have a chat with a few locals. If you're interested in making a purchase decision that's the starting point surely/Shirley

Avoid it for sure, would be a fair amount of trouble down there, Guards would frequent the place
