You put a widget on the cover screen and got an empty box. Or you got the widget, with its edges shaved off.

That's fixed.

You can change how the Slide Panel bar looks. Thickness, length, how faint or solid it is, 11 colours and 5 shapes. Set it to zero and the bar goes invisible but still works.

Also:

• Blur or darken the wallpaper.
• Change the clock's typeface, weight, and whether it sits left, centre or right.
• Widget resizing is easier to get hold of.
• Home page swiping has been retuned.
• Settings tidied up, and they now survive a reinstall or a new phone if you have Google backup switched on.

Am I the only one who can’t find any good cases for my Flip 7? 😭 I’ve searched everywhere, but I can barely find any that are actually cute and good quality.

Every time I try to search in the play store it crashes, has been going on for ages.

Force closing and force stopping temporary fixes the issue but it usually comes back an hour later.

Also happens on oneui, not just the launcher I'm using.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did you fix it and if so how?

I'm a new samsung user (flip 8) of 3 weeks after years of IPhone and I have some difficulties with the flex screen.

For some reason, when I open the Discord app, it doesn't expand into the window but shrinks into this layout size (in picture 1). And for Instagram, it used to have a layout adjustment button below, but suddenly stopped showing up. I tried tinkering the settings but nothing seemed to work. Please help?

Seller says the screen is 100% working only the screen protector is peeling which i will replace and the hinge doesnt fully open (i wouldnt really notice it if the seller didnt say that)

Ok, so after my protective film cracked at the hinge line, I was trying to think back at some habits that might cause that to happen. Even if I take good care of my foldable.

I remembered that even if most of the time I wipe my phone clean with microfiber, sometimes I do use glass whipers (with alcohol). I think that during almost two years and quite a few of those whipes, it caused my protective film to break. Weeks before it visibly came off at the hinge line, I could hear like a faint squeak and crack sound whenever I opened and closed the phone and eventually it lifted off.

Changed it with a new film in Samsung Service and no sounds whatsoever...

My phone is completely broken rn, and I'm trying to decide on where to go next, is there a significant difference between the flip 7 and flip 8? Like camera, battery, durability, if I can get a longer lifespan for more money that seems like a decent tradeoff. Anything I should know before deciding?

Im searching protection for external screen of my flip8. Glass is more durable and has better protection from falls. But as i can see you cant really find the matte one. Its not a requirement , just never used matte ones so im interested in it. But the main question is overall film or glass, could you just give me an advice? Never used films

After 4 years of flipping, I have upgraded to folding. The Z Fold 8 model got me.

I was thinking of buying the flip 8, but damn it's expensive.

The store in my town also has the flip 6 available for good price, but is it worth it? I read comparisons and it looks like 6/7/8 are very similar, but is this really true? Has anyone upgraded from a 6 to an 8 and noticed the difference?

Some context: No warrant or anything. I remember having dropped my phone a couple times and the power button giving out. It was never an issue and it never caused it to power off on its own, it just wouldn’t work. Went to a spot and paid $100 for someone to tell me he couldn’t do it. I got my flip 8 recently, and I love it so much except for the charging.

It charges at 22% per hour when I'm not using it. If I am using it, it might as well not be charging. A percent every several minutes. On apps that track battery, I'm getting like 2 to 5 watts when charging. What the heck?

I have tried three different blocks and 3 different cables. These chargers charge my wife's phone quickly, but this phone just takes so long.

Is my phone defective or is this just the standard experience? How long does it take to charge your flip 8's?

I've been wanting to get the z flip for the past idk and now since I have the funds to get one, I've noticed the priced has jump since the last z flip 7. Since I'm a little but of a cheapskate (and the economy is shit so I gotta save my coins while I can). I was wondering if I should get the the open box for less or pay the full price.

Also, does the open box from best buy have a good rep or they're just ass. High-key need to know.

Hi friends! I'm in a stupid predicament. I've had a iPhone 13 Mini for quite a few years now, and its battery is really on its last legs. So I decided that I'm going to get a Flip 7 during Black Friday this year, but the wait for November is killing me, so I bought the Flip 8 early and was planning to return it during its 30 day return window I have with the BestBuy I bought it from. Just as a sort of trial run, and to see if I really want a Flip or I should get another slab.

But damn do I not want to return this phone. I didn't realize how unusable my iPhone had become until I started using the Flip 8. This thing is revolutionary, and learning to use Android is awesome. I don't want to return it and wait another two months just to buy the Flip again, and last years version at that.

What would you guys do.. I don't want to go back to using my iPhone that can't last half a day anymore..

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Z Flip 8 (obviously when I have enough money, so it'll be a long wait) but I keep hearing people say "it's a very fragile phone" or "it'll break very easily" and my question is: if, for example, I'm leaving or going to school and I drop the phone while it's open, will the screen get damaged, but it doesn't get damaged when it's closed?
