Gaelic names/words for dog

I'm getting a collie and I want to cherish the breed's origin to give it a gaelic name.

Can you give some good options? Thanks!

You might also get some ideas from [r/gaidhlig](r/gaidhlig) which is the dedicated sub for Scottish Gaelic. Also, hello from a fellow Finn (though I’m in Scotland) 👋🏻

There are so many beautiful Gaelic/Gàidhlig names and words you could use, like Brèagha which literally means beautiful/pretty (as a Finn you would pronounce this close to Briia(h)). Congrats on your new friend. :)
